🥬 A little behind-the-scenes from Upriver Pizza!

You may have seen recent news about lettuce, so we wanted to show you something that’s been part of our routine ALL along. Every heart of romaine that comes through our kitchen is thoroughly washed before it’s used on our salads, sandwiches, and burgers.

We DO NOT buy pre-shredded OR bagged lettuce—we start with fresh whole hearts and take the time to clean them properly Every. Single. Day.

This isn’t a new practice; it’s simply how we’ve always done things. 💚💚

Your family’s health & safety are incredibly important to us, and we’re committed to serving fresh, delicious food with the care and attention it deserves.

🎉 What a day at Upriver Pizza! 🍕❤️

We’re incredibly excited (and honestly a little humbled) to share that we just had the highest sales day in our 4-year history!

Yesterday, our team hand-crafted over 300 fresh doughs, and another 300 TODAY for the restaurant and we were absolutely buzzing from open to close, ANDDDD our Upriver Woodfire Pizza food truck completely SOLD OUT! 🤯🍕

None of this happens without an amazing crew that works their hearts out and the incredible community that continues to choose local and support us. We are so grateful for every order, every kind word, and every person who walks through our doors or visits our food truck.

Here’s to raising the bar, making more memories, and continuing to serve the best pizza we possibly can.

🎉 BUT we’re making a special exception! We know many of you will be enjoying the beautiful holiday weekend, so we’ll be OPEN on Sunday, July 5!!!

We’re SO excited to share that Upriver Pizza & Bar has officially been selected as a Match on Main FY26 grant recipient! ✨

We are incredibly grateful & honestly so energized that the grant writing process worked in our favor. This opportunity means so much to us, and it’s going to allow us to make a major investment in Upriver with our new ovens & installation that will help us continue building the kind of restaurant experience we care deeply about.

These upgrades are about more than equipment — they’re about stability, consistency, efficiency, and continuing to create a place our community can count on for great food and a great experience. We’re beyond proud of what Upriver has become, and even more excited for where we’re headed next!!!!
