I am so greatful to all who helped this day come. Lorelai Finally Has A Safe Van!!!!! Thank you to my mom, Gold House in Berlin, Riverside Assembly of God family, and all who came out to the craft fairs and bought my goods and donated. All the donations, and purchases made it possible for us to afford the monthly payment on this van. We were able to put a hold on this van, have it shipped, and put down a good sized down payment (bigger then I even hoped for). I can not say thank you enough. We are so blessed to have such an amazing community and family (blood and chosen). We love you and pray God blesses you ten fold for the help you gave us.💜

The entire team at Guzman Hospitality Group is in shock and mourning the tragic loss of Marisol Fuentes, who passed away yesterday at La Casita. Marisol was a beloved member of our team across all our sister restaurants, and she poured her heart into every community she served, just as those communities adored her.

Marisol was a truly kind individual with a contagious smile, always wearing her heart on her sleeve. For the past few years, she proudly called Berlin home and cherished every person who walked through the doors of La Casita.

We want to honor Marisol's beautiful spirit and support her family in the best way we can. We invite everyone in Berlin to drop off flowers outside La Casita as a vigil.
