With over 25 years of experience in tarot and folk magic, Charlene QueMalaBruja Reynoso (she/her, they/them) carries forward practices rooted in ancestral veneration, altar tending, and the spiritual guidance first shared by her abuelita.

She began with the guidance of her abuelita and learned to attend altars and venerate the ancestors and spirits. Altar building is her devotional art expression. She often offers candles, talismans, and spell workings from these practices to others, along with spiritual guidance through tarot and spirit communication.

A q***r Boricua, Charlene has a background as an event producer, spiritual educator and guide, mixed media artist and social justice advocate. She consistently participates in community service events and activations around the city. Charlene is an Apetebi and practitioner of IFA, she was the co-owner of Ojo De Fortuna Gallery/Botánica/Boutique (2019-2020), and has been a co-organizer of Witch-O-Rama Market & Drag show since 2021.

I’m delighted to welcome Annika to the Rites of Wellness family!

A spiritual community liberation herbalist, Healing Justice Practitioner, and full-spectrum birth justice doula, Annika brings a deep commitment to plant wisdom, community care, and collective liberation. Their relationship with the plants is rooted in earned wisdom, lifelong learning, and the belief that the medicine and power we seek are already within us.

Beyond their work with plants and people, Annika stewards land, organizes around food access, nurtures community spaces, and finds joy in dance, plant-dyed art, clay, and music.

I’m grateful to have their support as we continue growing Rites of Wellness and Rites & Tea Rituals — Wellness Tea Parlour and cultivating a space where plant wisdom, meaningful connection, and intentional living can flourish.
