99 Sea Level is now permanently closed.

There is new ownership of the Bethany Beach Ocean Suites Hotel, where 99 Sea Level has thrived these past 7 years. We are disappointed to leave, but the new hotel owners want to bring their own restaurant concept to the hotel. We would like to thank the Bethany Beach community and our many out-of-town visitors for the amazing support over the years.

On the brighter side, the entire 99 Sea Level staff will continue working with us as we open our new seafood and crab restaurant, Starboard Claw, which will be opening in early 2023. More info on Starboard Claw can be found here. We also hope you’ll continue to support our other local establishments with Bethany Blues, the Starboard, Mangoes & Heidaway.

Anyone with 99 Sea Level gift cards, please contact us at [email protected] to exchange them for gift cards valid at our other restaurants.

With new ownership of the hotel where 99 Sea Level has thrived these past 7 years thanks to the amazing support of our Bethany community, we'd like you to join us this evening, October 27th from 5-8pm for a Thank You celebration. While disappointed to go after a prosperous 7 years, we understand new ownership wanting to bring their own restaurant into their new hotel. We'd love you to join us so we can say Thank You for your support these years, and hope you'll continue to support our other local establishments with Bethany Blues, Mangoes & Heidaway.

Most of entire 99 Sea Level staff will stay with us and soon move up the road to the future opening of Starboard Claw. They'll be excited for you to visit this spectacular new restaurant scheduled to open February 2023.
