We love seeing your furry friends! To ensure a safe, comfortable environment for all our guests and to keep our outdoor spaces pristine, here is a quick guide to our pet-friendly zones:

🦮 The Concrete Porch: All pets are welcome! It’s the perfect spot to hang out, catch some shade, and relax on the bench with your favorite drink or ice cream cone.

🏠 Inside the Shop: Service animals only, please! (For food safety and the comfort of all guests).

🌱 The Turf Area: Service animals only in this section, please! This helps us keep the turf completely sanitary and clean for everyone to enjoy.

🌳 Pet Relief Area: If your pet needs a bathroom break, please use the designated relief area near the Get Joy sign. Be sure to pick up after them and use the trash can provided to dispose of waste safely!

Wow! What a day! Thank you to everyone who stopped by for our very first soft opening. From firing up the soft serve machine at 9 AM to well after closing, we felt so much love. Your kindness and energy mean the world to the Joy Crew! ✨

A huge thanks to the neighborhood behind the shop for coming out in full force today! Thank you all for welcoming us with open arms. An extra special thank you to our neighbor, Arielle for writing us this beautiful poem. 🍦☕️

Joy Comes to the Neighborhood

Some businesses sell coffee.
Some sell ice cream.
A rare few offer something sweeter:

a place at the table.

A reminder that every person
has gifts worth sharing,
work worth doing,
and a community made richer when everyone belongs.

In a world that often asks people

❄️ Snow Day Alert! ❄️

Who says you have to wait until spring for ice cream? While we are busy getting the Get Joy shop ready for you, here is a fun way to bring a little joy into your kitchen today!

The "Get Joy" Snow Cream Recipe:
✨ 8-12 cups of clean, fresh snow
🥛 1-2 cups milk (add slowly until creamy!)
🍬 1/2 - 3/4 cup sugar (to taste)
🍦 1 tsp vanilla extract

Mix it all up and add sprinkles if you’re feeling fancy! 🌈

Pro Tip: Place your bowl outside for 10 minutes before mixing to keep the snow from melting too fast! 🥶
