Covid didn't kill the church attendance, "fear" did. The Fear that you might get sick wasn't the cause of poor attendance. It was the fear of getting "hacked". No longer are parish directories published, "for fear some one evil might use the information in a negative way. "Faith" in God's control of this nation and world has dwindled, and fear that you will be given to an insurance companies computer,...well, what do youo think the federal government is doing by hiring the net work insurance companies to bludgen us with "Medicare C" every day on the Television, and calls on phone. The Churches can't give out parish lists to congregation, thus when my organist is sick, I can't send him a card. I can't send flowers to the woman who drives me to church after her surgery. I can't sent a positive note to the 30 military persons on our parish bulletin, and Heavens no, I can't wish that long married cuple a blessing by sending them a card. No it wasn't the Covid germs, the masks, the six food distance that killed the church, but the fear of "being hacked" keeps us from knowing ur own parish family. Think about it. Evil works in many ways, and fear is their most often used technique. Call and give me your phone number date of birth (no year) and I'll send you a birthday card or a sick card. 609-433-7979

Attn: "Undeclared voters"....You cannot vote in the Primary Election in NJ June 5 (first Tuesday in June. If you wish to "temporarily" give up your "Undeclared" status for this election, you can declare D or R at the poling place, but you will then stay a D or R, unless you "return to Undeclared Status", filling out a a post card from the post office. It's easy, legal, and a way to have an opinion in the Primary Election, which determines who runs for election in November. Still got questions call me 609-433-7979 Retired Poll Worker, Carole Lokan Moore. 609-433-7979 Elections in NJ are first Tuesday in June and in November. Each State is different.

Confusion with the Priary Election in New Jersey? Listen up: There is no such thing as a "registered independent"....There are only Registered Republicans and Democrats, and folks who don't want to belong who call themselves...."Undeclared", or "Independents"....again this is not a "category/party", just to deliniate that you have chosen not to become a part of either the D or R party. Think of it like 2 foot ball teams. The Primary Election is when the team members vote AMONG THESELVES, (IE. R can only vote for R, and D can only vote D. (this is only in the Primary Election. By choosing to be "Undeclared" you do not get a choice as to who runs in November, Primary election. So Yes, if you are an 'udeclared" and want to vote in the Primary Election, you 'declare a party either D or R" before voting, and you can only vote for those on your team. You are then registered to that "Party" unless you change back to "Undeclared" by filling out post card at post office and checking the box...'Undeclared". If you missed the message feel free to call me 609-433-7979 I am a retired Poll Worker and this is the way according to my training.

When I get disgusted with "politics as usual" and the same legislators "making the laws " we must obey, I have been known to toss my hat in the ring and "Pub up or shut up". Correct, if you don't vote, you don't have th right to complain....so now that we are facing the June Primary election, as a "seasoned" Election Board Worker, I always post the "Primary Election Primmer". Ie. People say: Why to we have primary and general (2 elections)? So in an effert to educate the populus, I the retired poll worker/teacher/tv personality/author, will deem to explain in the simplist terms. Imagine there are two "foot ball teams"......R's and D's. Those members of the R's must vote among themselves to choose the team Captain. The D's do the same thing. Yes, this is the purpose of the primary election. To determine who is going to play in the "foot ball game" (general election) in November. So if you don't vote in the primary election, to pick the "team Captain" (running mate for the General Election), then you have not been a part of aprocess that has worked so long. New Blood, New Ideas, New People who are not "Professional politicians" can't get into the "big November election", if you don't participate in the Primary Election....ie. choosing the captain for your "foot ball team". Call me if you still don't understand. I am a very patient patriot and always a teacher/educator Carole Lokan Moore 609-433-7979
