We have sweets for the sweetest Moms you know! While you’re out and about today and tomorrow, swing by to grab Mom her favorite treat. Part 2: decorating the 100 serving wedding cake! All of these pressed flowers are edible and sourced online. To “glue” them to the cake I used clear piping gel and a paint brush to softly press them against the buttercream. The flowers are delicate because they are dried (we sourced online for the most vibrant options to make this bride’s vision come to life!) and so is the cake frosting, even though it has been chilled overnight, so the process was slow and took about an hour and a half.

Build a 100 serving with me! This video is 2 hours of work condensed into just over one minute. Once the cake was stacked and together it went right into our walk-in cooler to settle and chill overnight. It weighs about 40lbs from the combination of 2 raspberry preserves filling layers and a thick crumb coat of cream cheese buttercream underneath the final thin coat of white vanilla buttercream (to keep the white wedding aesthetic they asked for!). We will post a video on Sunday (after the wedding) of the decorating part!

At this time we are still accepting orders for everything on our regular menu and on the above Easter specials menu! We will be well stocked with your favorites throughout the whole week, but the best way to guarantee availability is to order ahead! Don’t show up empty handed to Easter brunch or dinner! Let us do the work for you!
