Apparently Ryan can make things that aren't sandwiches too. Half of tonight's menu was created by Ryan and half by Bryan, all based on a pop up idea Ryan had. Pictured is course III Evil option, made by Ryan

It's our last day of regular service, a Mac & Cheese special just felt right. Jalapeno popper Mac: Our five cheese Mac, cream cheese, jalapenos, pork belly, cornbread crumble

Despite our best efforts we were running out of prep and seriously backed up on orders yesterday so we had to stop taking orders at 5:30. Today will probably look similar, though we are prepping as much as we can. Plan accordingly.

The beginning of the end

Open normal hours today and tomorrow or until sellout. Friday open for our sold out Seven deadly sins dinner and then opening to the public for cocktails and goodbyes at 10pm

We're trying our best, we and our staff are just people who have been working very hard to accommodate as much as we can these last few weeks but its been hard. We do not exist solely to work and serve, a revelation which has apparently been upsetting to some. Surprising to us as we've spent the last four years working to be as honest and accommodating as possible. We'd like to say it's been eye opening to see how awful some people can be, even some long time customers, when we simply ask that for our last few days people who are trying us solely because we are closing spend their money at another local restaurant instead, but it's more par for the course of these last couple years. This will be our last post about this, we'd like to focus on the positive from here on out

Treat restaurant and service workers kindly, there's a reason so many of us are leaving and so few want to work in this industry anymore

The GOAT

Remember we've got one table left for our New Year's Eve seven course feast. The table is available for anywhere between 2-5 people, tickets available on our website yetosme.com. The picture above is just a teaser of what to expect, one of our mains: The Black Phillip, goat osso buco over creamy risotto

Bringing back breakfast burritos for our final brunch

Something we've noticed is a lot of people reading the articles about our closing and deciding now is their chance to try us for the first time, and we very politely ask that you please don't. You've had 4 years to try us

We've been extremely busy and with holiday schedules making deliveries even more wonky it has been very hard to keep up on food prep in our small scratch kitchen

We want to spend these last few days with our fans. The regulars who have supported us through tough times and great times. People who have been here from the beginning, or who discovered us after moving into Biddeford during the renaissance, or who didn't even realize we'd been hiding out here for a while. People who love us but maybe couldn't make it in as much as they'd like because they didn't have time, couldn't afford it, or moved away. We only have a little time left and we'd like to have room for the people who have become friends and family to get a chance to see us or get one last takeout order

Love,
Yeto's

Due to some delivery issues and how crazy busy we've been we've decided we're just not going to be able to open today. We hate to do this last minute but we just aren't able to offer enough of our menu today to feel comfortable opening. We know this might affect some of your Christmas Eve plans and we're very sorry.

We still have 3 regular services left before we close our doors for good. We're trying our hardest to keep up with demand, but it hasn't been easy. We're running out of many items and closing early often, wait times are often long and sometimes we have to stop taking orders. Please plan accordingly and be patient. Thank you.

Happy Holidays
With love 🧡

The Yeto’s Story

The story of Yeto & Yeta is, like most great stories, a love story at its heart. Yeto & Yeta's love, it was rumored, was once intense enough to melt the snow on the mountain the two Yetis made their home. That was until one day when Yeta fell ill. After a long battle with her illness all seemed hopeless for Yeta & Yeto. Yeto took matters into his own hands and set out to make a cure for his ailing wife. Using ingredients gathered from nearby; pumpkins from the nearby pumpkin patch, cheese from the local goat farm, and fish from the nearby river, he fashioned a soup that was warm, comforting, and healing. Yeto's Superb Soup reinvigorated his wife Yeta and their love.

Here at Yeto's we've taken the story of Yeto & Yeta to heart. Inspired by the heritages of the owners we've crafted menus that utilize food from our backgrounds. Bryan, whose family is Italian and who grew up working in an Italian restaurant, and Jackie, whose southern roots come forth in her approach to food. With that in mind we created a menu featuring our own twists on classics both Italian and Southern as well as some stand out fusion dishes. We combined that with our mutual love for hand crafted cocktails and specialty coffee drinks to create a place uniquely us.

We believe community is important and like Yeto we strive to use local, quality New England ingredients. Sustainability is one of our core values so all of our meats are free of hormones and antibiotics. Almost everything we serve is made from scratch in house; from our smoked meats and fresh baked breads all the way to our pickles. Our food and atmosphere are both comforting and adventurous, but most importantly filled with love.
