Yay! Strawberry Shortcake day is slated for Thursday July 2nd!

Will be able to source fresh local strawberries like usual? Nobody has any idea. The strawberry season is incredibly short this year and I surely missed the boat at my local strawberry farm of choice, Judson’s. 😩

I will drive hours to find fresh strawberries for July 2nd, mark my words. Regardless, plan to be at the bakery on July 2nd to grab our world-famous one-day-only scratch-made strawberry shortcake.

Share this will all your friends. I love the pressure of not having a solid plan in place and just going for gold. 😂 that’s my specialty. 🍓

On Thursday I had the pleasure of attending the Good Morning Lenawee event at Adrian Armory and I have to say one presentation really stood out. 👏

Emmy Bagnato of Emmy’s Kitchen absolutely crushed it today showing local business owners how to grow their business through the power of social media. Practical, engaging, and full of real value. The whole room was locked in. 💙

Emmy is exactly the kind of person Lenawee County needs more of. A local business owner who not only built something amazing but turns around and lifts up everyone around her. That is what this community is all about. 🙌
