A Little Piece of Bistro Roca History

Over the years, quite a few four-legged regulars found their way onto the walls of Bistro Roca. Their portraits became part of the restaurant, with photos rotating on and off display as new faces joined the collection.

Some of those portraits had been moved into storage before the fire and, thankfully, were safely tucked away.

We’ll have the surviving collection with us at our next Local Legacy gathering, Sunday October 4th from 2-4 pm at The Blowing Rock American Legion, and we’d love for you to come look through it. If you find a portrait of your dog, it’s yours to take home.

It’s a small piece of the original Bistro Roca, and we can’t think of a better place for these photos to end up than back with the people, and pups, who were part of the story.

Pour Decisions:
Because apparently rebuilding a bar takes longer than drinking in one.

Our Local Legacy Series is back this Sunday, and we’re keeping Antlers Bar’s title as North Carolina’s longest continuously serving bar alive the best way we know how: by getting together and raising a glass.

Since 1932, Antlers Bar has been part of Blowing Rock history, and a little rebuilding isn’t going to change that. Come spend the afternoon with us, catch up with friends, share a few stories, and help keep the legacy pouring.
