Do you miss China Restaurant? šŸ„” Our talented daughter Paulina just released her Chinese takeout collection, which is an ode to China Restaurant.

She made this collection to honor and remember the 30+ years we spent in China Restaurant making food for your amazing Southern Minnesota community. šŸš Her watercolor art comes in totes, tea towels, stickers, prints, and more.

WE WILL BE CLOSED ALL DAY TOMORROW (FRIDAY 01/11/24) DUE TO THE SNOWSTORM SO WE CAN ALL STAY SAFEā¤ļøThank you!

40 years ago, we left behind our families and everything we ever knew and immigrated across the world to the land of promise and hope. After working around the United States for a few years, we found a small town with big hearts tucked behind luscious fields of corn. In 1990, we opened up our first restaurant, unaware of all the great things that this community had yet to offer us. Even though we were oceans away from our family, we ended up finding family here, and we couldnā€™t have asked for anybody better to walk through the doors of our restaurant. Over the years, you guys watched our kids grow up, we watched your kids grow up, and we grew old with you. You guys came here and celebrated your first milestones, anniversaries, birthdays, holidays - all of the great joys and sorrows that life has to offer - and we got to celebrate it with you.

There is no easy way to say this, so we will just rip the bandaid off:
We will be officially closing on January 22, 2024.
January 13 will be the last day for dine-in. After that, we will be open for takeout until January 21.
January 21 will be the very last day we are open.

Thank you for all the amazing years that you guys have given us, thank you for your endless support, and thank you for being the family we never knew we needed. Not enough words can express our love and gratitude for the wonderful people who eat here.

Please help by spreading the word to all of your friends and family that we will be closing, and hopefully, we can see you all one last time.

To cap off the holiday season, we would like to give a big thank you to our wonderful healthcare providers that serve this community day in and day out to keep us all happy and healthy. We were so happy to be able to feed them for another year. ā¤ļøThank you to the wonderful Rochelle Karp for organizing all of this to support our business and the wonderful doctors, nurses, and hospital staff.
