PSA for our bread customers —->

Well, we all knew this was coming. I have been in communication with financial advisors and they told me, if I want to have a business we have to actually make money. They said $6 for a plain sourdough loaf just isn't enough to be able to do what we want with The Grist of It. We have some HUGE GOALS! We have some community changing things that we plan on launching soon but those things cost money. We also hate that the loaves are being made with bleached and enriched flour. Its our goal to try to offer healthier things to all our customers. So here is the deal. We are going to roll out a $1 increase in two weeks on all loaves of bread. We are scouring the internet and comparing every price to bring better flour as soon as we can secure it in enough quantities to do what we do. BUT! I wasn't just going to give in so easily to those financial advisors. So I offered a compromise.

We will offer the same price to customers who will place their order as a pre-order. That means you can still get that plain loaf for $6 if you are willing to order ahead. Preventing loss at our locations is a huge desire. Keeping us from throwing away any of our product can offset some of our expenses and ensure better profit. This can help us in the short term to have a little more to apply toward our growth goal and let me promise you, you're going to want the thing we are working towards. Sorry to be cryptic about it but we will come to you guys with our exciting news just as soon as ducks are in a row enough to reveal our plans. Until then, please know that we love and appreciate everyone of you. You guys have allowed us to dream, plan, and enjoy what we have done to this point. We have no intentions of stopping or letting you down.
