Health Benefits Of Eating Pho (fuh)

1. Good for strengthening your joints
Pho is highly nutritious, and it is suitable for strengthening your joints. You can slurp the bone marrow from the meat broth for good joint health. It lessens the joints’ pain and adds a good amount of protein to your body.

2. First press pure fish sauce
Made with high quality fish sauce (I use only the best, Red Boat Fish Sauce) which contains a high amount of essential amino acids, which support sleep and boost both the digestive system and metabolism. Another benefit is the omega-3 it delivers, which helps to reduce blood cholesterol and improves both brain and heart function.

3. Gluten-free
Pho is a gluten-free food. If you are looking to cut your gluten intake, then you should have pho daily or at least several times a week.

4. Anti-allergic
A lot of fresh herbs and vegetables are used while making pho. Some of the ingredients like turmeric and ginger with anti-inflammatory properties help you fight a lot of allergies and bacteria.

5. Promotes dental health
Pho is ambrosia for people who suffer from severe cases of rotten teeth. The meat broth is rich in minerals, fiber, protein, and collagen. These are very good for your dental health. Not all pork is created equal — and why you should care.

Heritage pigs benefit from high-quality farming, making for healthy, happy swine and better tasting, flavorful meat. If you prefer organic, pasture-raised pork that is naturally free of disease and antibiotics, then heritage is the way to go. Not only do you benefit from the quality of the farming, but heritage pork also preserves and celebrates our culinary heritage.

And despite decades of marketing to the contrary, pork fat from pigs that spend their lives in the open foraging for their food is also better for you. In contrast, the pale, barely pink substitute raised by the millions in enclosed industrial pork facilities has a fraction of the nutrients and flavor.

History and science have proven that meat and fat from grass-fed, foraging heritage breeds are naturally lower in saturated fat and exceptionally high in vitamin D, omega-3 fatty acids and oleic acid.

If interested message through IG, FB or Square to reserve a spot.

At the beginning of week I will be posting the opening days & menu for that week. Operating days will usually be (1 to 3 days a week) Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 4;30 pm to 8:00 pm. Menu will change every week or two (a few staples remaining) to keep the food fun, interesting and seasonal. This will be ran as a “One Man Show.” Doug, how are you going to run this by yourself? Well, I’m happy you asked. I’m going to keep this simple. You will order and pay at the counter, grab a table and I will bring food out to you. I will be limiting seating to around 30 guest each service with a 4 party maximum in order to execute food at this higher level cooking. Please feel free to bring your own Beer or Wine. I will have soft drinks and other non-alcohol drinks available.

This is a true chef-driven kitchen. All items are made in house (except for rice noodles & rice paper) using only the highest quality ingredients, sourced from organic local farms, free range poultry, grass fed beef and wild caught seafood. I sauté using only high quality olive oil and grass-fed ghee. Clean eats!

No preservatives, no GMO’s, no artificial flavors, no processed ingredients, no rubber tires …no junk in your food.
