People sometimes ask how we can go to sleep so early on Friday and wake up later that same day.... honestly, it gets easier and easier the longer into the season we are. We get more and more tired, but seasonality is what makes is possible for us!
Having a busy season and then a slow season has let us not only do this for 5+ years now but also has let us continually make more year after year. We have increased our production by 5x (!!!) since starting at the Watauga County Farmers' Market - and it's a massive thanks to our dedicated bread heads who keep showing up ๐ซถ๐ฝ๐
We mix, shape, and bake everything you see at the market + our wholesale and online pre-ordering you don't see.
Our market season runs April-October (which sometimes comes as a surprise since people envision market season only in the peak Summer).
The next market is our last market of the season.
We are cutting it short by 3 weeks so we can get our ducks in a row when it comes to seriously looking for a home in the area with the space to expand our cottage bakery and have it up and running and inspected by next April to do it all over again. We wanted to provide a little insight into what our seasonality looks like and some info as why our season will be a little shorter this year + if y'all have any leads --> let us know ๐๐ผ๐
See you next week and see you around town โฃ๏ธ
