There’s something so special about watching this space come alive through stories, art, and connection.

We sent a stack of our coffee sleeves home with a very special young artist named Isabelle, and she sent them back with a little piece of herself on each one.

Now, somewhere in the middle of your morning coffee, you might find a little piece of her creativity.

This is exactly the kind of thing we love about The Daily Boss. Finding ways for art and coffee to collide. Giving creativity a place to live, even on something as simple as a coffee sleeve.

Two beans. Two very different jobs. One seriously good cup of coffee.

Our Bell Curve bean does most of the heavy lifting behind the espresso bar. But our Boss Bean? That one has a story of its own.

We worked alongside the talented crew at morning bell coffee roasters to curate a blend that’s distinctly ours. Rich notes of chocolate, oak, to***co, and a beautiful nuttiness that brings it all together.

It’s bold. It’s complex. It’s got character.

So if you’ve been loving our black coffee, you can thank the Boss Bean for that.

A big shoutout to Morning Bell Coffee Roasters for taking our vision and turning it into something we’re genuinely proud to pour.

Yesterday was one for the books.

One of our busiest Saturdays to date. The usual Saturday morning hustle, an art class, homecoming, and a large church retreat that caught us by surprise at the very end of the day.

Our little shop was buzzing. And somewhere in the middle of all that beautiful chaos, we got to hear the joy of a room full of people singing their hearts out around our piano. Those are the moments we love.

But here’s what makes yesterday even more remarkable.

Rick and I weren’t even there.

We grabbed a coffee to go said hi real quick and were off to photograph a wedding, and much of our young crew had homecoming festivities to prepare for.

Enter Celia and Addy. 😎😎

These two girls took on the ENTIRE day. Every rush. Every unexpected crowd. Every moving part. Just the two of them.

And they absolutely crushed it.

There’s something pretty incredible about watching young people rise to an occasion. To take ownership, figure things out and prove just how capable they are.

We’re building a coffee shop, sure. But watching the people inside it grow into themselves? That’s something even better.

Celia and Addy, yesterday belonged to you. We’re ridiculously proud of you both.

And to everyone who filled our little corner of Boone with life yesterday, thank you. What a day. 🤎
