This is Ilya and Kimmy from The Happy Persimmon reporting live from FARM Cafe. As many of you know, we met working together here at FARM 10 years ago. We are so grateful for the community and love that we have felt here at FARM and it ultimately gave us the confidence to branch off and start our own little shop. SO, in celebration of AAPI Heritage Month, we are honoring our roots today by returning home to FARM Cafe and sharing some of our family favorite dishes. Our dishes today are packed with ingredients found in our shop, including Hmong Heritage Rice locally grown by our friends at Lee’s One Fortune Farm. On the menu we have Mini Tonkotsu Ramen Bowls made by Ross from eightpointfive, a Five Spice Butternut Squash Bisque, Chicken or Tofu Karaage, Japanese Potato Salad, Yaki Onigiri, Inari Sushi, Garlic Edamame, Kim’s Grandmother’s Pickles, and Mixed Green Salad with the World’s Best Salad Dressing(!!). We also have a delicious Lychee Lemonade and Matcha Glazed Rice Krispie Treats. It’s shaping up to be a beautiful day and we are excited to share this meal with y’all! See you soon :)

Meet Cindy Michaud and Mary Ferrell, who just brought the most beautiful art and message to F.A.R.M. Cafe. Inspired by the beauty made from broken parts, Cindy created this mosaic as part of the 'You Are Here' Project. We can't imagine a better representation of this wild, sweet, and wonderful place.
