The Community Supporter (AKA COOtie Patootie) program has FINALLY launched on our website. This program was part of the co-ops original conception and we’ve collectively been working on how to bring it to life for over a year!
If we’ve made an impact on your life and you want to ⭐️ support us ⭐️ receive amazing discounts ⭐️ use the co-op space as a venue to host community events ⭐️ & participate in collective governance to help shape our future! Join our community supporter program & become a COOtie Patootie Today! The registration is a sliding scale monthly fee of $15-$25, all the perks are the same regardless of means!
Because we’re worker owned, shoppers are not legal “members”, however we still wanted to give the opportunity for involvement, discounts, and other perks! As well as allow those who are willing and able, a chance to help keep Boone’s first local market co-op alive! Since we’re in our infancy, this baby business (made up of a bunch of lil local businesses), we’re still trying to figure out how to make this thang work whilst not compromising on accessibility for both vendors and shoppers!
We operate on such narrow margins that we can’t quite wholesale and make accessible all the things our community wants, that aren’t created immediately in the Boone area, AND we’d love to expand our mutual aid wing! We have so much heart and drive to serve this community but we’re just lacking the capacity and resources!
