Late post but we had a blast down at Vicious Pigs BBQ Throwdown!

Final results from the Vicious Pig BBQ Throwdown this past weekend in Steadman, NC. Great competition with 28 teams in Bobby Brinson's backyard. Congratulations to Grand Champion Tailgaters BBQ. This is the last SBN competition in 2024. We look forward to a great spring season starting in April 2025. Thanks to all.

Smoke on the Mountain 2023 was a blast. Was great to have my son Shane join Joey and me. There were 64 teams from Texas to PA, best teams in the country. We came away with first place in sauce which was pretty cool it was a new sauce we created this year. We were happy with our cook and learned a lot. The BBQ community is a great group of people!!

It has been several years since we competed was good to knock some rust off and take home 2nd Place in Peoples Choice Smoke on The Mountain Galax, VA. Fun to compete against the legends like Myron Mixon and Jacks old South, this years and 5 times world champions. Joey and I want to thank Shane and Tegan for coming up and allowing us a few hours of sleep!
