The Proud Popover restaurant in Brookfield Wisconsin was founded in 1975, the idea of entrepreneur Ronald P. The concept was franchised by Quaker Oats and another TPP eatery was opened in 1976, next to QO's The Magic Pan restaurant in Boston's Faneuil Hall.
