Well folks, my heart is heavy, and this is a tough thing to write.
After much consideration, a bit of kicking and screaming, praying, lots of tears, and finally resolution, it is time to announce the closure of Graham’s RoyalTea.
I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of the wonderful customers who have come through our doors and we’ve had the pleasure of serving. We’ve had the privilege of celebrating so many of your special occasions with you. From birthdays, bridal showers, baby showers, women’s groups, book clubs, and so many other groups to our lovely individual table guests. It has been wonderful getting to know so many of you. I hope that you will hold the memories of your time with us in your heart for many years to come.
This has not been an easy choice, but a necessary one. There are so many factors that have gone into this decision . . . Things like my lease, being doubled at the beginning of the year, skyrocketing costs (you gotta be feeling it at the grocery store, too!), unbelievable staffing
challenges, personal and family, health concerns, and so much more.
I so wanted so much to be able to announce that another tea room was taking over and you could continue to enjoy the beauty of Grahams Royaltea in a new iteration. But, alas, after many attempts and negotiations, that was not to be.
A lovely little business is going to be taking my space, please support them! Being a small, independent, niche business is nigh unto impossible these days.
Please take care of yourselves and each other.
With much love and gratitude,
Christy Graham, owner.
Edit PS: this effective immediately as Sunday, Oct 29th is our last day of operation
