🏐👩‍🍳 From the Volleyball Court to the Culinary Kitchen! 🍥🔥

When UCT Culinary Arts senior Kenley Thomas isn’t battling it out on the court for our Varsity Girls Volleyball team, you can find her chef’n it up in the kitchen! 💪

Today, Kenley is showing off her sweet skills, making delicious homemade cinnamon rolls from scratch! 🤤

Serving up wins on the court and sweetness in the kitchen! 🐏❤️

Today was a GREAT day for our Culinary Arts program!

Today 6 of our Sophomore students headed over to Assabet Valley Technical HS to compete in the Best Entree and Best Dessert. Winning Best Entree in the competition against 3 other programs. Way to go students!

Meanwhile just a few towns over in Natick our students competed in the SkillsUSA Massachusetts MRE competition creating gourmet meals out of MRES’s. Competing against 25 teams our girls team won 2nd in the Grand Champions category. Awesome job to both teams!

Our students take competitions seriously and take their best efforts at every practice we are so proud of them!

Keep your eye out as we host our BBQ completion on Tuesday November 10th!

Last week we started our Freshman One Weeks! Such a great group to rotate between all of our shop areas. Students learned dining, restaurant, baking and our cafe! Way to go freshman students we can’t wait to see our Culinary Class of 2030!
