How do I create a truly delightful dessert?
Start with a sweet, airy meringue baked to cloud like perfection.
Fill it with a dark, rich bittersweet chocolate mousse.
Gently float it (yes, upside down!) on a silky pool of Grand Marnier infused
crème anglaise.

Who needs a restaurant when the table comes to your home?
C'est la Fête catered a private Mediterranean dinner for 6, thoughtfully customized from the first course to the last bite.
Starting with warm cheesy gougères puffs to pair with a celebratory anniversary champagne toast!
A mid Eastern platter with homemade hummus, baba ganoush, muhamara dip, warm pita wedges and zaàtar chips.
Followed by a crisp greens salad, seasonal blood orange segments, toasted almonds and a honey sweetened citrus vinaigrette.
The plates were overflowing with slow braised saffron spiced & apricot chicken tagine, aromatic vegetables , olive oil roasted chick peas, fluffy buttery couscous dotted with sweet currants soaking up every drop of the fragrant sauces!
A table that smelled like a market at sunset.

This is the elaborate apetizers we served on our family vacation in the Virgin Islands, on a boat! My daughter Sasha and daughter in law Katie are fabulous sous chefs and oh much fun to cook with!
*Mini rice "cakes", a dollop of curry creme, a fine sliver of carrot, a small mango cube, a mint leaf, a slice of red pepper a finish of fresh grated ginger makes a delightful tropical bite!
* Quesadillas made with delicious vegetable salad leftovers and spicy homemade creamed black beans and melted jack cheese! yum!
