In 2011, I was working as the CFO of a global company, which was then purchased by a private equity firm. So, I took my buyout and started consulting. As a result, I had a much more flexible schedule and ended up spending a lot more time with my kids. I have really enjoyed being a bigger part of their lives. I wouldn’t trade my time with them for anything. Like most kids, mine have a number of act
ivities. I found myself scrambling to get them (and me!) a good dinner in between all of their activities. I should tell you now that I am a bit of a food snob (my wife would say more than a bit!). No wonder then that I hated the nights where we ended up with Wendy’s or “cardboard” Chinese food. The flip side was spending ridiculous amounts on “higher end” food from the local take-out Pizza/Italian place. I was stuck, although I always enjoyed cooking, finding time to do it during the week was really hard. As I talked to more parents, I realized they were up against the same situation…and that’s how the idea of the Seven3Two Dinner Club came about. Delicious, “home cooked” meals ready to be warmed and shared with your loved ones without the hassle of shopping, prepping or cooking! So what can you expect from us? High quality meals made with superior ingredients (remember I’m a food snob!) delivered to your door at a reasonable price (remember I was a CFO!). It really is that simple. What do we mean by quality ingredients? We will use organic products wherever it is not cost prohibitive. Organic Chicken? Organic Eggs? Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil? When we deliver the food, along with the heating instructions, will come a list of ingredients that were used to prepare it. You will be able to see for yourself what is in the food you are eating. For us, dinnertime is a moment to re-connect as family, share some laughs and continue to discover the wonder in our children’s lives. It is our hope that the Seven3Two Dinner Club gives you the same opportunity. This is the start of a journey and we want to hear from you about what you like and what you don’t.
