Please share. And help me (and homeward bound Addison County humane society out)

I swear I procrastinate on things just because when I am able to pull them off, the satisfaction is that much bigger. Awfully stressful way to live🤦‍♀️

Anyway, I did it again! And, I need your help🙋‍♀️

This Saturday is
THE 5TH ANNUAL
MIDDLEBURY INVITATIONAL CHILI COOK OFF
AT THE MIDDLEBURY LEGION
11AM-2PM
$5 ticket

I am so excited that I was invited to participate in this event!

Each vendor is asked to sell 10 tickets raising $50 before even walking through the door (such an amazing idea). By selling those tickets, it in no way means that you have to vote for our chili, it is simply the ticket to get in to the event. * the ticket is an attached to your name so if you buy one and realize you can't go, you can give the ticket away and that person can get in....

When Keith, the organizer if this event, who has done many chili fests around the area and is so knowledgeable on how to run a successful event, told me this, I replied

"Give me 20 tickets. My customers and followers are amazing! I can sell them! It's $100 and goes to great cause, they will help me!!!"

Well, this is where the procrastination part comes in.... the chili fest is this Saturday!

I still think we can sell the 20 tickets. But I havent sold any yet 🫠

But.....if I sell them by the time we close at 2pm on friday, I will throw in another $50 donation
That will be $150 to benefit homeward bound organization!

Thank you to Keith and his daughter Rylie reaching out and asking if I would consider being involved in this event. I am so honored to be asked.

You guys!
I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a really, really, really hard winter ((seasonal depression aside)!!! Long winter and honestly I've had to pivot A LOT to make ends meet! You all have been so gracious and continue to come through the doors, buy merch and gift cards and book events which has kept us going. ( This isn't a sympathy post.This is a reality post!!!!!)

But even with all your support, it has been a struggle, even after 11 years in business!!! I question my ability to do thia more often than I would like to admit

These last couple days have been a sign for me to push a little harder, dry those "behind-the-scene-tears", figure it out.

Its a reminder that my community is behind me, people I dont personally know are rooting for me, local businesses I work with are patient with me, and maybe, just maybe, I got this!

When I say "you dont know what this means to me" or "you keep me going" or "you're keeping me in business" "every event booking helps" I MEAN IT ....

You aren't helping me buy another vacation home, or another lavish trip around the world, or fund my 6th pair of red bottoms shoes....

This week, Im trying to pay my daughter's AAU dues, my car payment, restaurant food bill, and make payroll

AND THAT IS THE GODS HONEST TRUTH AND REALITY OF SMALL BUSINESS, (OR AT LEAST MINE).

So "thank you" means....
