Tuesday morning at 9 I would like to invite any riders on two wheels to join myself and Dan Eckmaire to ride the ADKBDR section from Brantingham through Lyons Falls and Boonville to Old Forge and back. It will give everyone a taste of what BDR has to offer...and hopefully get me on the map for a stop once people see how close we are to the route...and, that route gets added to the virtual map. Dan is an excellent leader on these expeditions. It is a day run with a stop for lunch. We should be back here by dinner time.

I love you all, mean it.

Scott Yuschak is getting rid of his two bikes as he is picking up his, new to him, BMW Adventure bike tomorrow morning. Scott thinks three bikes is more than he needs...I dont understand that concept. With me it's the more the merrier in my world of motorcycles.

The prom kids were awesome last night. They were very respectful and polite. The parent have done a great job with this class. The kids deserve a lot of credit too. Im very happy that the Lewis County kids have self respect and haven't gone feral like some ther parts of the country. It really makes me proud to live in northern NY.

Where's Bella...wow. Talk about parents doing a great job. That young lady and her band really have that it factor. I actually made the eight thirty mark...mostly out of awe from the performance of the band.

Next Friday brings Wh**ey and Phil back to the high stage. Saturday night we have Tony Levesque up top. Im considering adding some Sunday afternoon dates for July and August. Five till eight or nine on the outdoor stage or patio. I mentioned it to Bella last night. I had a chance to bring it up with Jimmy Nostrand and he's in contract with Chris Sorel. I'm hoping I can get Gabe and Mike together for a Sunday or two. Trouble is bad weather, everyone comes off the lake but, nobody wants to patio party. If it's too nice nobody wants to leave the lake early. I'm not caring...if I have music on a Sunday at five...I may be able to enjoy it to entirety for a change.

We have the Sunday Roast beef and grandma's chicken and biscuits today. Wings and pizza are a great Sunday option too.

I have to stop grabbing and get a move on...

I love you all, mean it.

This morning the weather is pretty blah. The skies opened up last night and a cold front ripped through. Its not what I would call an outdoor activity day. It would be a perfect day in a heated side by side. There is absolutely zero dust though. Its a great day to make a plan to come to the CoachLight Inn and see the live music as preformed by Where's Bella. They start at seven. I expect a full house...because they are very good.

Check out those special boards. The food is fantastic here too. The gang mixes awesome drinks and the beer is cold...very cold.

I was happily surprised when I came in this morning and saw the shelves, where we keep the Tshirts, were half empty. The patriot shirts are moving faster than the Squatchwatch shirts in the neon colors. Maybe when the summer gets more summery and the lake population get a golden glow those neon colors will get more popular. Nothing shows off a summer tan like day glow fabric.

So while I'm bitchin about the rainy weather, I turned to look and the sun is out. If I had just waited eight minutes, I could have saved you all a whole paragraph of reading.

I read early this morning that our friends from Tuggers are having a poker run today. Now that the sun is out, I can whole heartedly recommend that you go sign up for the ride...then come back for lunch or dinner here later.

The Brantingham station...the little store I call it... it's just across the way and they have Mercer's soft serve and Hershey hard flavors for ice cream. I need to waddle on over there later. So far this year I had a delicious maple twist cone at the Red Rooster in Croghan. Whisheys in Croghan has a super creamy vanilla soft serve with rainbow sprinkles. Mary's dairy I had a dole whip strawberry twist, and a pair of straight vanilla...on different days. I would get a soft serve machine myself but, I fear the obesity and deadly diabetes that it would lead to with me being in control of that much ice cream. Forgive me for I have eaten too much ice-cream...my penance is three salads and a bowl of spinach...then another cone.

Ok...I've been tapping away so long the weather has changed again. I better go get something done before it starts to snow.

I love you all, mean It.

Ok...the sun is out. I thought maybe for a minute there that it was going to be an overcast day. Its almost like it knows when the majority of people want to get out and enjoy the day and it doesn't want them to... It being the weather. It can be fickle.

The ADKBDR was released last night. My buddy Dan Eckmaire was there for it. The trail goes around Brantingham. It misses us by just seven miles, going through Lyons Falls instead. The BDR does have a way of morphing into different animal. The regular trail often gains X trails that are a bit harder, or add more dirt roads. Its not out of the realm of possibilities that the trail could be added to a bit, to get up here on this hill and back to the trail without backtracking. I must say, I was a bit disappointed at first. I am proud of Dan for having a credit for helping with the setup of the ride though.

I added some pictures of our new shirts and trucker caps for summer 2026. I think they came out great, but, I am a bit biased. I think the lake is going "back in time" and will look phenomenal in our day glow colors of generations gone by.

The 250 year anniversary of the USA only come around once in a lifetime. We have a whimsical t-shirt and some trucker hats that commemorate that too. The CoachLight isn't really about the merchandise...we have excellent food and drinks first and foremost. We also have top notch entertainment like Tony long toes Levesque on Friday, and the wonder group of Where's Bella on Saturday.

It appears that the season for sitting outside is upon us. At least i hope it is. I plan on being a patio sitter on Friday and Saturday...heck maybe even Sunday too. It hopefully only requires a light jacket and a small amount of bug spray. Maybe the weather will cooperate this weekend and we'll get a big dose of bug spray delivered by airplane...

I hope you all decide to spend at least part of your valuable time with us this weekend...

I love you all, mean it.

It was a great day to mow. I just now realized that quite possibly my neighbors may not approve of a seven am mowing session. I know Julie gets up early for her walk. OD is already off to school and the Browns aren't up today, so I may have pulled it off without angering anyone.

This last week certainly greened up this hill. In one week the green came out to make it look like actual summer. The bugs are still out...and hungry. I'm not sure what's going on with the ticks but holy moley check yourself when you come in from outside...everywhere.

We have our summer shirts in for sale. My 90s spoof on Baywatch with our Brantingham Squatchwatch are my favorites. The neon blue, hot pink, day glow green, sunburst orange really pop. They really capture the retro look of the late 80's and early 90s. Retro look...80s and 90s...what the heck am I talking about... the second group of 2026 summer shirts celebrate 250 years of America being America. A stern Bigfoot sporting revolutionary war garb and a musket. The colors for those shirts are off white, brick red or faded denim blue...we have assorted trucker hats and a new supply of stickers.

I've been doing some health fads. Every morning I'm pounding down a ryze mushroom coffee. Just before the coffee I'm taking a shot of apple cider vinegar in a bit of water. Well, yesterday morning for some reason I forgot how to swallow while I was mid vinegar concoction. I gagged on the water and vinegar and they both shot out of my nose and mouth. I'm not sure but, I believe some of it wept out of the corners of my eyes. It has really loosened things up in my throat and sinuses. The spring pollen pollution is coming out very easily today. I may be onto something. They say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. After the initial burn and coughing fit trying to dispel the vinegar and water concoction the spring poison appears to be expelling itself without me really putting forth any effort at all. I can't really tell you how to do it if you want to try for yourself. I think you just add too much apple cider vinegar, with mother, to too little water, then choke on it unexpectedly... the rest will happen naturally. It really cuts through the seasonal pollen that turns to phlegm.

So now that you have that visual so early in the day, let me hit you up with the food specials...I guess the best way is if you just check out the pictures of the special boards.

The sun is back out. The birds are singing. I would prefer they shut up and just eat the bugs but, perhaps their song is telling the other birds, hey, theres a swarm of tasty little pests over here. My friend Kevin Ryan said he wants to start a possum farm up here to help with the ticks. Possums seem to be the biggest consumer of ticks we have. Maybe instead of data centers and solar farms NYState could open possum farms and help out the people that live up here however, Having lived up here forever I'm sure they would just have us raise the Possums then they would send them to New York City whether they were needed down there or not. Actually that's not a bad idea as possum are marsupials so the average city dweller could have a pet, a purse, and a tick eater all in one. Maybe possums could be retrained to eat bedbugs and cockroches as well...man, am I a problem solver or what.?

Tony Levesque will be here Friday night. The supergroup Where's Bella is back up high on Saturday. I try to hire the best bands three counties have to offer to entertain us every Friday and Saturday night.

I gotta go. There's stuff to make and food to order.

I love you all, mean it.

There's a new bike in town. A fancy red BMW f700gs. Its not mine this time. I did find it for Scott Yuschak and, it fits him to a T. Its a beautiful red machine so he doesn't even have to change his garb. I knew the second it started he was gonna get it. It comes with factory boxes so he can travel with it if he wants to. A beautiful 800cc twin from BMW, badged as a 700. We pick it up early next week on shopping day. I'm as excited as Scott is.

Wednesday brings the Wings. 10 bucks a pound for our Jumbos with choice of sauce, celery and blue cheese.

We have new Tshirts in and some trucker hats. The C.L.InnTwo sticker have been resupplied too. Half the shirts are a 90s neon with a play on bay watch...squatchwatch...the second half are a patriotic Bigfoot theme.

It's a beautiful day up here in the hamlet. If you can afford the chance, get out and enjoy it.

I love you all, mean it.

I must admit... I like sunny and warm better than wet and cold.

We rocked and roosted our way to Harrisville today. My Monday ride took place on a Tuesday. We had a salad at the Village Diner then, On our slow roll back to Brantingham, we made a quick stop at Mary's dairy. Hey I had a big salad for lunch... and a small cone for dessert...

The trails were not at all dusty. The deer were out en force...so were the turkeys and partridge. I didn't hit any of them.

Get ready for wing Wednesday. Tony Levesque is here Friday. Where's Bella is Saturday. Man did that young lady, and her band, leave a great impression on Brantingham.

I'm looking forward to a sunny week. It's time for some summer fun.

I love you all, mean it.

Inventory is done. My special boards are done. Im just sitting here waiting to see if anyone shows up for a Monday morning ride...and secretly hoping that I have the day to lounge around instead. Thats not totally true... I could get off whipping around out there through some mud puddles for a few hours... but, lounging sounds pretty nice too.

Yesterday with Matt Grainger worked out really well. The bar was packed all day and night with drinkers and eaters. They all really liked the live music while Matt was here. He looks much smaller on his stool by the fireplace. His voice was still spot on, he just doesn't look as intimidating low down. I will say that he loses a bit of his viking warrior vibe when he's not towering overhead. His musical skills were spot on as always. I love Matt.

Shelly and I have watched the Maddison over the last little bit. If you haven't watched it... I think its spectacular. Taylor Sheridan created another hit in my book. The actor that plays Kurt Russell's brother looks remarkably like our own Rob Morton. I would watch it all over again just to have Rob in my living room for the afternoon. Check it out and tell me if I'm wrong. The cinematography and story line are both captivating.

Today is supposed to sun up and warm up after noon. Tomorrow is the day though. Tomorrow is supposed to be perfect for darn near anything out doors...especially swating flys... I've never been one of those tick check fanatics but...there seems to be a lot of ticks this year. I would offer up my tick checking skills to you ladies out there except my wife doesn't approve of me using my mad skills for tick checking on people other than her. She doesn't go out often anymore so alas, my skills may be for not. What a waste.

It's five after ten...no buzzing in the parking lot so it must be a day for lounging. I hope it's the weather that kept my buddies away and not my personality or riding style...

I love you all, mean it.
