We are permitted as a Commissary Kitchen. Over five years we’ve only had a couple businesses use our kitchen. Today, we’ve had three food trucks reach out. It seems a new law is taking effect and they need a commissary kitchen. Brazil KitchFix stays very busy catering, so we can not allow multiple people to use our kitchen. If you need a contracted kitchen for 2027, please reach out sooner than later!

As many may have noticed- we are not having a free community meal night this month. We will have one regardless, next month. I refuse to become a nonprofit. Ive been involved in many and we’ve helped so many! However, a helping heart doesn’t need politics or taxes to be helpful. Many businesses will not donate because we can’t give them a number to write off on taxes, and I’m not mad at them. It’s what’s we’ve become. If and when people or businesses decide to help us moving forward, we will provide a free meal. This isn’t about donations, as KitchFix is happy to buy and cook for everyone, but we are a small business and not able to always help fully, despite wanting to do sometimes we have to skip a month.

Our next Free Community Meal will be November 18th!
