Good morning, Bayou Barista family! ☀️❤️

We wanted to start the day by sharing some wonderful news!

Thanks to all of your prayers, love, and support, Jared is doing really well. We are so grateful to say that if everything continues to go as planned, he will hopefully be heading home today.

The outpouring of kindness from our coffee family has been overwhelming in the best way. Every prayer, message, comment, and word of encouragement has meant more to us than we could ever express. Thank you for standing beside us during this time.

We’re looking forward to getting back to doing what we love and serving each of you again very soon. We’ll keep everyone updated, but we hope to have our window open again soon!

Good morning, Bayou Barista family. ☀️

We wanted to give everyone an update on why we weren’t able to open.

Yesterday evening, Jared wasn’t feeling well, so we decided to make a trip to the ER. Thankfully, we did. After being evaluated, we learned that he was having a heart attack and needed a stent. We are incredibly grateful for the quick care he received, and we’re thankful to share that he is doing very well.

Because our focus is on Jared’s recovery, Bayou Barista will be closed for the remainder of this week. We’ll keep everyone updated as we know more and will let you know when we’re ready to reopen.

We can’t thank our amazing coffee family enough for your love, prayers, patience, and support. Your kindness means more to us than words can express, and we’re so thankful to have each and every one of you by our side.

Please continue to keep Jared and our family in your thoughts and prayers. We look forward to seeing everyone again soon. ❤️☕
