Good Evening Cape Cod!
I wanted to recognize two young ladies that have amazing futures in front of their eyes. Kiley and Zaydah! Kiley Mawn is the daughter of Charlie and Erika, both Brewster residents and pillars in the community. Kiley began working for us when she was 13 years old. It was her first job and she had a group of girls that were close to graduating from high school that had been with us for a very long time. She found her way and developed bonds and relationships that she still has to this day with her predecessors. She has grown exponentially and has evolved into an amazing young woman who will be attending college in southwestern Florida at an amazing university near Fort Myers. Ever since I’ve known her, she has always talked about going down south and she has just fulfilled her dream after putting in so much hard work at Monomoy high school. Kiley is ambitious, motivated and an amazing athlete. She played basketball and softball at Monomoy high school and was one of the Cape Cod and Islands league best players in both sports. She also makes a mean açai bowl! Kiley,  it has been a pleasure watching your personal growth and becoming one of the finest young ladies that we have ever met. While we will miss you, we hope to see you back next season after your freshman you’re in college! Thank you for everything, it has truly been an honor to work with you and watch you take positive steps in securing your .
Zaydah… while this is your first season, I don’t know how we have missed you for the last few years. You have a smile that is contagious in an attitude that is second to none. We are so proud that you are going to continue your athletic career in track and field at a local college here in Massachusetts and we will certainly be paying close attention to your journey. You have been a breath of fresh air at Cafe Alfresco and we are looking forward to getting to know you better throughout the season. Thank you so much for bringing that positive energy to the Cafe, it is young ladies like yourself that make all of our guests feel welcome and important. You are truly a shining star and we are very grateful to have you representing us!
