The tastiest way to support our work in the community!
Join us Monday, November 2, for 'Sabores de MĂŠxico' (The flavors of Mexico), a Mexican Fiesta celebrating the tastes, colors, and music of Dia De Mu***os.

Brighton’s own Chef Seve Ramos is bringing his authentic recipes to our table:
Salsa bar: tomatillo, chile de ĂĄrbol, and pico de gallo
Guacamole
Shrimp Diablo
Traditional pork mole and chicken verde mole
Mexican rice and refried beans
Cactus salad

Plus guided tequila tastings and a live mariachi band.
This is not your standard Mexican Monday.

Grab your sweetheart or your friends and enjoy a night out with a purpose.
Every ticket helps feed neighbors in need.

ONCE AGAIN, THE GENEROSITY OF THIS COMMUNITY HAS LEFT US SPEECHLESS!!

Our shelves are looking pretty bare right now, and we know how much our community enjoys shopping!

At The Ivy Table, our pay-what-you-can cafe centers on welcoming people in for a hot meal, encouraging conversation, and a place to belong.

You may have eaten with us before and never realized that some guests leave with a few groceries too. Those in need of a free or reduced meal can select available surplus and donated food from a short shopping list. Our volunteers then discretely bring the items out in a simple to-go bags, preserving the privacy and dignity of each guest.

It’s not a lot, but it’s something many of our guests have come to rely on to help supplement upcoming meals. Being able to receive a meal and a few groceries in one stop also saves guests another trip out, which is a huge blessing given the cost of gas.

We don't have much shelf space, so we try to stick to the basics. Many of our guests live in their cars without a way to prepare food, having some ready-to-eat, shelf-stable options is essential. Others have kitchens and appreciate receiving staples to help create simple meals.

We’re currently looking to restock:
• Peanut butter
• Pasta
• Spaghetti sauce
• Soup
• Protein drinks
• Meat sticks
• Protein bars
• Trail mix

You can help without ever leaving home. Simply choose an item or two from our Amazon Wish List and have it shipped directly to the cafĂŠ!

“This is the best bite of anything I have ever had.”

“I would eat a whole basket of those.”

Those were two reactions from our staff when Chef Miguel Larcher treated us to a taste of his carrot and butternut squash fritters last week while testing recipes for Thursday’s w**e dinner!

Come experience the dish our staff has been talking about all week —along with five other beautifully crafted vegan courses and seven special Spanish w**es carefully selected by our favorite Spanish W**e Guy. Some of these w**es were produced in quantities as small as 700 bottles! 🍷.

You don’t have to be vegan to love Chef Miguel’s food—and our staff can vouch for that! If you enjoy incredible food, exceptional w**e, and live music, join us for A Feast in Full Color. Each ticket helps support our ministry and feed our community.

These words got us.
A recent guest left us an incredibly thoughtful and detailed review. She talked about the cleanliness of the cafe, the pay-it-forward model, and the food. She even stated that our turkey sandwich the best she’s ever had!

But the words meant the most to us were:
“Everything about the experience felt ...full of love.”
“It genuinely feels like a place where people come together to care for one another.”

That's the heart of The Ivy Table. We don't just want to serve great food that fills people physically. We work to create a place that feeds something deeper, too—a place where people feel welcomed, cared for, connected, and loved.

A day off work, and they chose to spend it volunteering with us!

On Monday, when banks were closed for Columbus day, about 20 volunteers from Independent Bank helped clean up The Ivy Table , both inside and out. They weeded, trimmed trees, cleaned out garden planters, organized closets, gave the dining room a deep clean, and washed dishes.

As one of our corporate sponsors, and we love how they support our mission both financially and through hands-on service.

Thank you for showing up, pitching in, and helping us keep our café a beautiful and welcoming place for everyone. We’re grateful for your partnership!
