The Chicago Italian Beef Sandwich. If you have never tried this, here’s your chance. Thinly sliced roast beef with Italian spices, served on a hot Turano roll, with hot or mild giardiniera (think peppers) 🫑 🌶️ Typically the whole sandwich is dunked in “gravy” (like au jus). But if you are not quite that adventurous you can ask for gravy on the side.

Hello Friends,
We have some important updates regarding our operations in these final days. Due to overwhelming demand, we are running out of pizzas earlier than anticipated in the evenings. This is uncharted territory and we are doing our best to plan ahead. If you are driving a distance to see us we recommend that you give us a call to make sure the dish you are wanting is still available. We are still able to make dough to have available to restart the next day. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding during this time.

Additionally, we have found it necessary to set a limit on the number of take and bake pizzas we can produce in a day. This decision was made to ensure that we can fulfill all orders to the best of our ability. Thursday will be the last day for placing orders that can be picked up on Friday. We will NOT be taking any orders for take and bake pizza on Friday or Saturday.

If you are trying to reach us by phone and are unable to place an order, we kindly ask for your patience. Our hosts are working tirelessly to fulfill phone orders, seat waiting guests and provide the best service possible. We truly appreciate your understanding and support during this busy time.

Hello Friends,

It is with a mixed emotions that we announce the closing of The Angry Italian restaurant on Saturday, December 30. This decision has not been an easy one for us, but it is necessary for the future of our business.

As our lease comes to an end, this may be the end of one chapter, but it is also the beginning of an exciting new one. We are taking this opportunity to rethink our business model and explore innovative ways to better serve you in the future. We are committed to reopening with a fresh concept that will exceed your expectations and provide an even more exceptional dining experience.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to the community for your unwavering support and patronage since we opened our doors in 2017. Your loyalty has meant the world to us, and we are truly grateful for every moment shared with you.

Our incredible team was informed of this decision in mid-December, and they will be with us until our last day of operation on the 30th. We invite you all to come and dine with us this week, as we cherish these final moments together.

Please note that as the week progresses, we may run out of certain menu items. We encourage you to use any gift cards you may have this week, as we cannot guarantee their transition when we reopen sometime in 2024.

We understand that many of our customers enjoy our take and bake pizzas, and we want to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to reserve one before we close. While there will be some in the cooler, it would be wise to call 423-878-7492 to reserve 24hours in advance.

Our doors will be open from 11 AM to 9 PM through Saturday, and we eagerly await the opportunity to serve you one last time. Let’s make these final days memorable and celebrate the wonderful memories we’ve created together.
