Brooklyn Roots is all about people, history, and some good food. If you've been here before, you know it is a little bit of a scene, it's not your typical restaurant. I know one thing for sure my father would have been here all the time, with the Sinatra playing and the old school brooklyn attitude we have. This is Brooklyn Roots.

Happy Tuesday everyone! If you haven't heard, we started up LUNCH service last week and it's been pretty cool seeing all the night owls during the day for all their favorites - make sure check out our daily hero specials // today is the Mr Joe (chicken francese, broccoli rabe, crispy potatoes on garlic bread) and The Jelly Parm (eggplant parm w vodka sauce, burrata on a prosciutto bread roll)

Happy Friday! We've made it through another week and what better way to jump start the weekend than with some Rigatoni Genovese! Slow cooked prime rib, carrots & celery make one heck of a trio in this pasta - just always make sure to save room for Bread Pudding!!

Our first week hosting lunch was awesome, stop by Tuesday through Friday for daily hero specials, soups & your favorite dinner classics just shrunk a bit

Dinner service starts @ 4PM - let's squeeze out as much as we can from this beautiful weather. We'll see you on the avenue!

Happy Thursday! Just a friendly reminder that we are now open at 12PM-3:30 for LUNCH! All your favorite entrees sized down so that you're somewhat coherent enough to get through the rest of a work day - The Tuscan Burger shown here plus some old Corner soup favorites like the French Onion & Tomato Soup!

What an extra special Friday today is - not only did Chef prepare some amazing Prime Rib for tonight, it also just so happens to be the big guys BIRTHDAY! Make sure you stop by tonight & congratulate Chef Tommy on another turn around the sun. There's not many people around that would go the lengths he would for his restaurant & it shows every single day in the dishes he puts out, how hard the staff works & rallies around him and how the neighborhood adores him

Be sure to stop by tonight at some point to wish Chef a huge HAPPY BIRTHDAY - we're sure the party may go on a little later than expected
