Epic Eats

Epic Eats Epic Eats is an ever changing dinner party based out of Brooklyn. Epic Eats grew out of one event planner and one chef’s love of dinner parties.

We combine fresh and entertaining concepts with refined and approachable food outside the NY restaurant scene. Chef J has been working in top NY restaurants for years (Nobu, Eleven Madison Park, etc.) and Lady A has mastered the art of DIY style and ambiance. Together they have developed a supper club in Brooklyn to bring you delicious food and drinks in a fantastic environment. This is Epic Eats. Stop by for a bite!

Chinese Take-Out
I mean, who doesn’t love Chinese food? Guests enjoyed prosecco with lychees and Bangkok spiced shrimp chips up in our lounge where red paper lantern hung and take-out boxes covered the ceiling. Onra’s Chinoiseries album played as dinner was served. From a beautiful and eclectic pu pu platter to a soup tasting, each bite was a delicious sample of familiar flavors. Shout out to our friends at Bombay Sapphire who sponsored our first cocktail of the evening with their delicious “East” gin. The main dishes were served family style while each guest received their own gold take out box filled with salt fish fried rice and 3 special packaged Epic Eats sauces: Soy Joy, Crack Sauce and Hot S**t. The table raised their Tsing Taos to toast the chef. We weren’t done yet! For dessert, Purple yam, vanilla, bourbon bubble tea paired with egg custards, orange slices, and Lady A’s fortune cookies. Epic Eats loves you …in bed.

Once Upon A Time…
A somber soundtrack made of fairytale scores brought a curious and sometimes ominous mood to the room. A large mural of a stark forest greeted guests arriving. Large vintage leather books, a rustic crown, old keys and an hourglass dressed the table with plenty of candle light illuminating the room and glass orbs overhead. Each course revealed a classic fairytale brought to life through conceptual plates of delicious and delicate ingredients. One dish after the other, this surprise menu kept everyone guessing and continually charmed. For every bit of whimsy put into the dishes there was equal sophistication and the stories came to life amongst a group of 8, dare we say it, “foodies”. One of our best groups yet, our guests could not stop chatting about toro. Glad to have pleased these educated palettes, we loved being in this fantasy world together!
