Running a business - especially with little ones - is really just a series of pivots 🤣

It’s messy, it’s busy, and it often involves a lot of coffee… but it’s also really sweet🤍

✨Day 4: Call in reinforcements 🍪

So much icing 😵‍💫 We’re 4 days in and just now getting to the part where I can turn my brain off and flood some cookies.

My hope is that this series has given you a bit of a peek 👀 behind the curtain and into the day-to-day of a home baker 👩🏻‍🍳

And plot twist: the baby hit a growth spurt 😬

Between running out of butter 🧈 , a baby nap schedule that went right out the window, and a Costco run in the heat of the day, Day 3 was all about ✨adapting✨

I was worried I had fallen way off the production schedule by spending extra time away from the kitchen and soothing a growing baby, but we had a second half rally 💪🏻 and got it done! 🍪✨

* 1️⃣ Cookie baking is genetic in my family 🤣 my Grandma Perez is the OG baker in my life and had a cookie room before they were cool 😎
* 2️⃣ Coffee is my favorite beverage. Hot plain latte, please! Tell me in the comment - where’s your favorite place for a cup? ☕️
* 3️⃣ I’m a mama to 2 perfect humans this side of heaven 🤍

🚀 Get in, we’re flying to the moon 🌖

Just kidding - I’m terrified of heights 🥴 but how cool was it to witness history this month with the first mission to the moon in about 50 years?!

My highlight: The naming of a moon crater after the commander’s late wife, Carroll 🥹

Were you as glued to this story as I was?! I still have soooo many questions. Someone may need to put me in touch with an astronaut 🧑‍🚀

Anywho… Now we wait for Artemis III in 2027! 🚀
