Hope everyone is safe and without much damage from the hurricane/storm. Unfortunately the strong winds did a job on our roof. Due to the damage and cleanup/repair needed we will not be open tomorrow. I will keep you guys posted and hopefully we will be back at it Friday morning. See ya soon ✌🏽

First let me say how amazing this week has been reuniting with our customers who became our family thru the years. This week has shown us humility and strength and we were humbled. We laughed with some, cried with some and grieved with some. BUT what a tremendous week it has been. I am posting this to also let you know we will be closing at noon tomorrow to take care of some medical appointments. Everything is looking up for us but we may have to do this from time to time. I knew this going in but we couldn't wait to open our door's. You can only miss friends and family for so long. We will be back Monday bright and early and it will be a fantastic day. Our Lady Gaga will have her last radiation treatment and will have a month's reprieve before she undergoes chemotherapy again. Thank you all for the ❤ love and prayers you have shown us nothing has gone unnoticed. It's so good to be HOME! Nancy

Alright. After staying silent since November I feel now is the time. We have been working hard on the restaurant and almost ready, but now I will share the other. Our Lady Gaga (Angela) having been cancer free for 24 years was diagnosed with stomach cancer. She was operated on at Memorial hospital in Savannah. They removed 80 percent of her stomach and and it was in a few lymph nodes. After a pet scan she was deemed to have Lynch syndrome which is a genetic disorder and probably the root cause of her cancers. You all know how strong she is personally and in her faith. She has told you many times her life was God's and he held the plan's for her. She absolutely believes this. She is fixing to start chemo and radiation therapy. She is doing great. Your prayers would be greatly appreciated as we walk with her through this journey once again. Maggie, Chris, and Dylan are working fast as they can to get Maggie Mae's up and running and it won't be long. When life throws us lemons 🍋 we shall make lemonade. You have been the greatest friends, family, and customers anyone could have. This journey is once again starting and we won't be stopped. Thank you and for goodness sake, please, love a little deeper and cherish every day. We only get ONE chance to get it right.
