Drink beer. Get smarter. It's a win-win! Anna Lepeley wrote a book about the health benefits of beer, and she's coming to Smoketown to share the knowledge. Also she's really funny! Ticket includes a mini-flight of 3 beers so you can take notes. July 24th, 8:15p, space is limited to come get your tickets early.

Are you an actor or singer looking to make audiences crack up this Christmas? Do you want to bring jolliness, and bad jokes to the community of Brunswick?

The Toast Worthy Theater Company is holding auditions for “A Christmas Carol: Drunk After Dark” on Sunday, August 9th at 2:00pm and Wednesday, August 12th at 7:00pm. We’re on a mission to bring community theater to Brunswick, and need talented, passionate people like you to join us on this exciting endeavor!

This award-winning adaptation of the timeless Dickens tale is a hilarious parody presented in partnership with Smoketown Brewing. This is an exciting opportunity to bring live theater to their beautiful upstairs performance venue (Upstairs at Smoketown) for the first time. That’s why we’re looking for passionate members of the Brunswick community and beyond to help bring this show to life, and leave audiences in stitches!

Interested actors and singers of all skill levels should come prepared to perform cold readings of the script and sing 16 to 32 bars of your favorite Christmas song a ca****la. The sillier the better!
