Allen Bread Company Allen Bread Company is a sourdough bakery offering loaves, pretzels, bagels, sandwiches, pastries and coffee at Bryn Athyn College’s 1877 Cafe.

Our 100% wild sourdough loaves are made with only stone ground flour from Castle Valley Mills in Doylestown.

Saturday April 18th Update! Because our wonderful barista Priscilla will be holding down the fort while we are out of town, we will only be serving coffee and pastries this Saturday. We will not have bread or sandwiches for sale. Monday things will be back to normal!

Bread Update! We have a bread slicer now so if you would like your loaf sliced please let us know. We are still baking fresh loaves and bagels every day, Tuesday through Saturday. We are open Monday with limited stock and Saturday’s bread, so no loaves for sale on Monday. Thanks!

Hello friends! Due to the pre-snowstorm bread rush, we are totally sold out! We only have soup and quiche and coffee left. We will also be closed Monday in case of snow, so come and see us Tuesday for all your sourdough needs!
