Banana Bread Protein Balls🍌🍫

Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup oat flour
- ½ cup peanut butter
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 2 scoops vanilla protein powder Karalynne Call
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt

Chocolate coating:
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips Just Date
- 1 tsp coconut oil

Instructions:
1. Mash banana in a bowl until smooth and add almond flour, oat flour, peanut butter, maple syrup, protein powder, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until a thick dough forms.
2. Roll into bite sized balls on parchment paper and freeze for 20 minutes.
3. Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil until smooth.
4. Pour or dip each bite into chocolate, return to parchment, and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
5. Refrigerate until chocolate is set.

This Peanut Butter Cup Ninja Creami is thick, creamy, topped with a crackable chocolate shell, and has 54g of protein for the whole pint!!

Ingredients:
• 1 cup milk of choice
• 1 banana mashed
• 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (Equip Foods makes the BEST creami texture! Use code: ROOTEDWITHSYD for 25% off until Friday!)
• 2 tbsp PBfit powder
• 1 scoop collagen (optional)
• cinnamon & sea salt

After spinning:
• 2 tbsp peanut butter

Chocolate Shell:
• 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips
• 1 tsp coconut oil

Sourdough Ice Cream Sandwiches 🍪🍦

These are refined sugar free & made with better for you ingredients🤍

Cookies:
• 113g butter, softened
• 80ml maple syrup
• 50g coconut sugar
• 120g sourdough discard
• 1 egg
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 240g all-purpose flour
• ½ tsp baking soda
• ½ tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp sea salt
• 120g chocolate chips

Mix wet ingredients, stir in dry ingredients, fold in chocolate chips, and chill for 1 hour. Scoop into 9 cookies and bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes. Cool completely.

Sandwich with your favorite Ice cream. Then freeze for 2–3 hours before enjoying. We love the brand Ice Cream For Bears (I love scanning products with the Fig app to check for clean ingredients & no refined sugar) 🤍

PB&J DATE BARK🍓🥜

I’m obsessed with any variation of date bark… it’s always stocked in my freezer & this one might be my new favorite.

Recipe:
• Medjool dates, pitted
• Homemade or store-bought jelly/ jam (I love Smash Foods)
• 1 cup dark chocolate melted with 1 tsp coconut oil
• Flaky sea salt

1. Line a pan or plate with parchment paper.
2. Arrange the dates and press them together into one even layer.
3. Spread a layer of jelly over the dates.
4. Pour the melted chocolate over the top and spread evenly.
5. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
6. Freeze until set, then break into pieces and store in the freezer. Enjoy!!🫶🏼

High Protein Chocolate Raspberry Chia Pudding 🍫

Ingredients:
• 2 cups Greek yogurt
• ¾ cup milk of choice
• 2 cups fresh raspberries
• 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
• ½ cup chia seeds
• 1 tbsp maple syrup
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• Pinch of salt

Chocolate Shell:
• ¾ cup chocolate
• 2 tsp coconut oil

Directions:
1. Blend the yogurt, milk, raspberries, protein powder, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
2. Stir in the chia seeds.
3. Let sit for 10–15 minutes, then stir again.
4. Divide into 4 jars and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
5. Melt the chocolate with the coconut oil and pour a thin layer over each jar.
6. Chill for 10–15 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
7. Crack the chocolate shell with a spoon and enjoy!

These Viral Protein Frozen S’mores deserve the hype⭐️

Protein Frozen S’mores:
• 1 batch homemade or store bought graham crackers (recipe below)
• ½ cup melted chocolate chips
• 1 container thawed cool whip or CocoWhip
• 2 scoops vanilla protein powder (I used Promix Nutrition code: ROOTEDWITHSYD)

1. Line a pan with graham crackers.
2. Spread melted chocolate over the crackers and freeze for 5 minutes. (I made this mistake haha)
3. Mix the whipped topping with the protein powder, then spread over the chocolate.
4. Top with another layer of graham crackers.
5. Freeze for at least 90 minutes, then slice and enjoy!

My Homemade Graham Crackers:
• 1 cup all-purpose flour Sunrise Flour Mill
• 1 cup whole wheat flour
• ½ tsp baking soda
• ½ tsp salt
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 6 tbsp cold butter, cubed
• ⅓ cup honey
• 2 tbsp maple syrup
• 2 tbsp milk
• 1 tsp vanilla

Mix the dry ingredients. Cut in the butter until crumbly, then stir in the wet ingredients. Roll thin between parchment, chill for 30 minutes, cut into rectangles, prick with a fork, and bake at 350°F for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden. Cool completely.

Hot Honey Chicken, Crispy Roasted Sweet Potatoes, & Broccolini🔥

An easy, wholesome dinner that’s packed with flavor and comes together with minimal effort.

Hot Honey Chicken
• 1½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
• 1 tbsp avocado oil
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp smoked paprika
• 1 tsp onion powder
•salt & pepper

Coat the chicken with the oil and seasonings. Air fry at 380°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway. Brush with hot honey during the last 2–3 minutes (or toss after cooking). Cook until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Roasted Sweet Potatoes
• 2 sweet potatoes, cubed
• 1–2 tbsp avocado oil
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp smoked paprika
• ½ tsp onion powder
•salt & pepper

Toss together and roast at 425°F for 30–35 minutes.

Broccolini
Heat 1 tbsp avocado oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the broccolini and cook for 2–3 minutes. Pour in 2–3 tbsp water, cover, and steam for 3–4 minutes. Uncover, season with salt and pepper, and finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.

This might be the easiest Fourth of July dessert you’ll make all weekend. 🇺🇸

Want it easier? Grab refrigerated sugar cookie dough and frosting.

Want it homemade? Make both from scratch- either way, everyone will ask for the recipe!

Sugar Cookie Crust↓
• ½ cup softened butter
• ½ cup coconut sugar (or ¾ cup regular sugar)
• ¼ cup maple syrup (omit if using regular sugar)
• 1 egg
• 2 tsp vanilla
• ½ tsp almond extract (optional)
• 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
• ½ tsp baking powder
• ¼ tsp baking soda
• ½ tsp sea salt

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Mix in maple syrup, egg, vanilla, and almond extract. Stir in dry ingredients until just combined. Press into a 12-inch pizza pan, chill 15–20 minutes, then bake at 350°F for 13–16 minutes. Cool completely.

Protein-Packed Frosting↓
• 8 oz light cream cheese, softened
• ¾ cup plain Greek yogurt
• 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I love Equip Foods)
• 2–3 tbsp maple syrup (to taste)
• 1 tsp vanilla

Whip until smooth.

Spread frosting over the cooled cookie, then top with fresh strawberries and blueberries. Slice and enjoy! 🇺🇸🍓🫐
