For the past 3 weeks, we’ve had this group of awesome trainees from LEAP working in our kitchen alongside our staff as part of their summer program.
The girls got to join our team and learned about all different aspects of working in the kitchen. If you visited us recently, you may have seen these girls prepping, cooking, or running register. It’s always so exciting to have young people in the kitchen, and helping them build skills for their own employment goals.
This specific day in the photo- they made cookies to bring back to share with their peers at their dorms. They made plenty of scones, sandwiches and salads! We already miss having them in the kitchen!!
