Do you know all this bagged and processed Lettuce is responsible for the recent outbreak of Cyclosporiasis?

That's why we always use locally grown lettuce, such as these beautiful varieties from Ozark All Seasons, grown with organic methods, so you don't have to worry about your sporiasses exploding!

Speaking of fresh local lettuce, here is Tuesday's Special:

This beautiful Caprese Salad!

The Salad: Has fresh Mozzarella, marinated tomatoes, locally grown basil, and Pepperoncinis on our Locally grown Lettuce blend, with grilled chicken and a drizzle of Olive oil and Balsamic reduction.

as a Sandwich: with Fresh Mozzarella, marinated tomatoes, locally grown basil, grilled chicken and a drizzle of Balsamic reduction on a soft Hoagie roll.

We have had quite the weekend!

Thankfully we live in one of the best communities around, and that made everything much easier than it could have been!

We've been working hard to make some much-needed improvements to the Bistro, and unfortunately life's little struggles have set us back a bit on progress.

We discovered a slab leak at home last week, so we reached out to some regulars of ours, who always seemed really nice, and always support local businesses on their own page; About Schmidt Plumbing.

We opted to shut off the water and stay at a local hotel over the weekend, as they had promised to come out first thing Monday morning.

Knowing the Days Inn by Wyndham in Cabot was also locally owned and operated (not to flex, but we know the owner), we set ourselves up there, until our heroes with pipe wrenches could come rescue our poor flooding home.

Of course, we had to come back to take care of Mango, Pancake, and the other kitties, and what did we find when we arrived home Sunday?

A giant tree blocking our driveway (it's more of a dirt path, don't judge) as well as a dead battery on our tractor.

Feeling quite daunted, we returned to the hotel, determined to return early with a fresh battery, so we could clear a path for Mr. Schmidt, et Al.

We failed.

They beat us there.

These gentlemen were not only more-than-punctual, they cleared the tree for us before we even got back.

Now, I'm not suggesting you call them up for your next landscaping job (but I do know a guy), but the fact that they just jumped right in and handled it says a lot about their character.

Not just that, but their honest, straight forward approach to the job as well.

We were extremely pleased with their efficient work, the transparency and keeping us informed of the work that needed done, and especially the fairness of the quote.

I would definitely recommend these guys for any job, big or small, give em a call!

Hello and good evening dear Pea Farm Fanatics.

Friday we are having one of our favorites:

It's the Greek Chicken Flatbread, it's got a lovely tomato cucumber salad made from Arkansas produce, along with a honey lemon chicken and whipped Feta, made with White River Creamery cheese, on a warm flatbread.
