She was recently selected as a featured exhibitor at MassCreative’s Creative Sector Day at the Statehouse. Her artwork has been featured on GBH's Community Canvas, at Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt), Hopkinton Center for the Arts, Framingham City Hall, TILL Wave Gallery, and Marlborough Makers. Charlie Marie celebrates the release of her latest album "Signs" tonight at the Lizard Lounge with Danielle Miller and the Highlife. Grab your tickets now on Eventbrite for $20 or at the door for $25 starting at 7. Daniel Miller kicks off the night at 8! See you there!..🦎

Charlie Marie's latest full-length album Signs, out June 5, is about her epic journey of self-discovery following profound loss. Embarking on a spontaneous journey across the US from Rhode Island to Alaska and back again, the songs reflect both the trials and tribulations she encountered and the signs she learned to recognize along her path, guiding and sometimes redirecting her to the truths she learned and answers she sought.

Daniel Miller is a singer-songwriter with a penchant for centering his music on locales that inspire him. “My goal is to take a region that I love and write songs about that place. My focus isn’t on limiting a record to fit into a specific bin on a store shelf; it’s to tell a story.” Born and raised in Knoxville, TN and currently living outside of Boston, MA, Daniel has been writing songs based off of his experiences on the road for the past twenty years. Those songs have provided Daniel and his country-rock touring band, The High Life, the opportunity to open for various national touring acts in some of America’s most beloved performance venues.

Use The Force and Carboy tonight at the Lizard Lounge! Tickets are $15 advance and $20 at the door starting at 7! Use The Force kicks off at 8! See you there!...🦎

Use the Force boldly reimagines classic movie themes with funky grooves, jazzy harmony, and epic solos, inspired by the epic music of John Williams, but also featuring the music of other composers for cinema and television. Think Harry Potter wallowing in butterbeer in New Orleans and Darth Vader busting out the head spins at a dance party.

Though this juxtaposition sounds downright silly, the band is serious about their music. This accomplished quintet draws upon their deep reservoir of musical skills to transform cinematic masterpieces through the prism of groovy, soulful funky-jazz fusion.

With Rick Stone (sax), Nick Grondin (guitar), Sean Farius (bass), Giuseppe Paradiso (drums).

Tarishi "M.I.D.N.I.G.H.T.” Shuler
Award-winning American Artist Tarishi "M.I.D.N.I.G.H.T.” Shuler altered the status quo of the spoken word art scene by presenting an ingenious style of delivery using clever metaphors and a dance between two-dimensional storylines.

Resonating with audiences nationwide, by 2011, Tarishi had begun dominating stages with his dramatic performances, taking home numerous awards year after year and raising the bar for his counterparts. Often abrupt, always gracefully delivered yet playfully unfiltered, his poetry hangs in an intrinsic balance of raw truth and art imitating life.

Among his many accolades, Tarishi has opened for notable individuals such as Saul Williams, Grammy-nominated Neo-Soul Artist Dwele, Abiodun Oyewole of The Last Poets, and former US President Bill Clinton. In 2020, he shared a stage with Omari Hardwick at Da' Poetry Lounge in Los Angeles, California. Def Poetry Jam Reunion in Martha's Vineyard. Tarishi is a member of the CT Slam Team VERBAL SLAP and was instrumental in their win at Southern Fried Poetry Slam. They are the current 2025 National Champions and 2026 Chicharra Poetry Festival Champions. He was the special guest host at the Legendary “Poet’s Passage” Poetry Open Mic in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. Former Artistic Director for The Word, a nonprofit organization located in New Haven, CT. A native of Connecticut, you can find Tarishi modeling, acting, bodybuilding, teaching, or directing while also discovering new audiences in stages close to home, and as far as Tokyo, Japan.
