Labor Day is a great time in Canal Wi******er and our parade is the pinnacle! We need your input on the Grand Marshall! Please help us!!

Who will help lead one of Canal Wi******er’s favorite traditions?

The Canal Wi******er Labor Day Festival Parade returns on Monday, September 7, 2026, at 1 p.m. with the theme **America 250**, and we're looking for the perfect Grand Marshal to help kick off the final day of the festival!

With thousands of spectators lining the streets along the parade route, serving as Grand Marshal is a special opportunity to celebrate those who make a difference in our community. Nominations are welcome for individuals, businesses, organizations, and community groups.

We had the absolute pleasure of feeding this great group - Godzilla Nether Portal. A band from Illinois on their way to the top (and to New York). Not my cup of tea music wise but such a great group of kids! We were lucky to haave them with us here for breakfast and lunch - let's give them a huge Canal Wi******er shout out!
