Looking to take on a few plowing jobs this winter. I am perfectly ok with being called when you want to be plowed instead of nailing you 3 times in one storm or plowing 2 inches. I don't wish to "under-bid" anyone and start a plow war, but I am willing to provide the service YOU want and be economical. I won't charge what I wouldn't pay and that may likely be less than what you pay now. I so have a very nice V-plow and back drag edge so homes with garages are within the realm, but my truck is large with a poor turning radius so "tight" driveways would not be wise for either of us. Willing and able to handle larger lots. Happy to talk to anyone, but please communicate through messenger. There is no need for nasty comments.

More news: again with the assistance of a local professional there will be more activity in the cafe the first week of January. We have contracted to get the commercial galley kitchen ready. (then hood and fire suppression install with gas people finishing up) We will be working ourselves with technical assistance from friends in the eating area through the next several months to complete the bathroom, walls, floors etc. You will soon see lights on at night as we begin being busy during these short winter days.

Some serious interior improvements happening in the next couple weeks for the cafe. Nov 7 and 21 looking for bodies from church to help. Trying to spruce up seating area and get the bathroom all set for Sunday afternoon chapel service at the cafe from 3pm-4 (Dr. Chris Grimbilas, Pastor New Life Baptist in Jay) Stop by and say "hi". We will probably even have coffee on.

Bit of a setback. My painter is closing on his own property sooner than expected. Now searching for someone who can paint the Cafe in the next month. Recommendations ?? Anyone?

Exciting news; finally. Have secured the talents of a professional painter. The outside of the cafe is getting a face-lift in the next couple weeks. The theme of course is red,white and blue in keeping with our name. Inviting suggestions for how to incorporate that. Likely for simplicity's sake the bulk of the building will be white. Trim blue? Red door? Suggestions? Interior wall and bathroom to be finished off in October. Pray the elections lift these unconstitutional "mandates ".

Let me explain to the altruistic townspeople of Canton. "Hope springs eternal, love your neighbor" etc are all empty platitudes when you get thrown off the Canton FB page for simply disagreeing over the Covid 19 farce (and get sworn at by a town select person) Is THAT what you want to stand for in this town? Treat anyone who disagrees with you like that?? Then go on and make threats and create more drama. (NO, a single mother was NEVER attacked. A rhetorical question was posted: "When did feeding one's children become the school's job?") The name of the cafe may or may not be (I am not convinced I want to be a business in this town)FREEDOM Cafe. Free from the over reach of government. Free from being told how to raise our children by the government. Free to disagree. It's laughable that those who preach love and peace and tolerance are the LEAST of all those things.

Glorious news. We have acquired our tables and majority of our coffee cups. (Which likely will be sufficient since we will be having a "cup club" where you can bring your own and leave it) Seating for about 45 (as soon as we.find chairs....lol) picked out a lovely little 30" square wood top table for our "missing man table" by the door. (Curious what that is feel free to ask/message)
