If you were at the stand this Spring Car show, thank you! Please let us know how your experience was. We had new machines, working out the kinks. Some of you, may have had a few frustrations, as we did during screen freezes etc. Once the systems get worked out, it will be perfect. So many of you got to see us and we were overjoyed to see you! Oh man! The first batch was made early! Trial run and taste testing for THE BIG SPRING BAND DRUMSTICKS! FEATURING, HIPPIE CHICK-IN'S, EXACT FOOD MENU! The smell makes me so happy! Be kind and patient, with the new tenants, fans. They are excited and we want them to have fun, getting to know you and the business. Once they get their feet wet, I have no doubt, they will do us proud. By the way, my first thy of the season, was impeccable, as always. My honey mustard, will be there too, so don't worry. The moment you all have been waiting for, the announcement! I'm happy to tell you, that Big Spring Band, will be taking our stand for the season, as a trial run. They will be doing the same menu. We are making, the breading and honey mustard, you all have come to love. We will show them the ropes. We hope you all love and welcome them as you did for us. I was in band and arts in school, so it's important to me, to keep these programs. Band, costs parents, a lot of money, that they have to raise. This is all close to my heart. Please spread the word! Hit the tip bucket a little extra for them. Scott and I will be there, for the first few days, to help them get going. Be patient and kind. The kids and parents, are counting on this season, to see if they want to continue. They have the potential to do much bigger profits then selling candles and sandwiches. Scott and I couldn't be happier, that they will continue the recipe, for our fans. We will miss seeing your faces. We are eternally grateful, for the love and support, you gave us. Let's give a big welcome to the BIG SPRING BAND, DRUM STICKS! ❤✌🏻🎶

I'd love to give a big ole bear hug to one of my dear Canadian friends. Happy 40th birthday! We wish we could be there to celebrate with you! We cannot begin to express, how loved and appreciated, we were, at the fairgrounds. Over our five years, we didn't just have, loyal customers, we gained fairgrounds family. We will cherish our memories and hold them dearly to our hearts. We plan to come in and visit. There were very few dry eyes, all week. My own eyes, were so swollen, yesterday. I really lost it, when our sign came down. The reality, set in, and I am an ugly cryer lol. Emotions were all over the place. Even Bill Miller, teared up and refused to believe, we weren't coming back. He gave us season passes for next year, so you know, I'm going to come in and cheerlead and maybe guest bartend, at the tiki bar. Listen for my "beer money" call and you'll know, I'm there.
Scott and I, couldn't ask for better people and thank you, for being the best of the best. This album, has a lot of faces, we have grown, to love, over these years. Jodi Felix-Morrison, you are an amazing woman and I am in awe, of all you do.
For those of you, who want to know, why we are closing, there are many reasons. We hoped the kiddos would be ready to take over, but their lives are headed on different paths, and that's ok. I hope, down the road, we can resurrect The Hippie Chick-In, somewhere. The second reason, we are taking, our small window, of opportunity, to travel, while our bodies, are still able. I've put it off too long. Our backs are not great, as it is. Third, we have seen many changes, over the years, and needed to make a decision. This was one of the hardest decisions, we had to make. Our kids, have not been married or having their own yet and have, aging parents, that will need our help. This small window, between is slim, and we are going to do all we can, to see and do everything possible.
Our page will remain open, so you all, can see, where our ventures, land us. This page will also be here, to let you know, if the business, comes back, down the road. We will let you know, who will take the space, we had. We love, each and every one of you and will never forget, how much fun we had, serving you. Fare thee well, fairground family.
