Whew, do I hate to have to make this post! But with this heat seems to bring an influx in "spicy" πΆ (seems like the most appropriate word) attitudes from folks, and an in depth conversation is necessary. π£
Our team and us as owners are here providing great food, service and a family atmosphere, happily, every day we are open. π«
We know it's hot, we know some of you work outside, we know in general bad days happen. But that is no excuse to take your mood out on restaurant staff. This includes yelling, demeaning someone's position, being excessively rude with your comments or cursing. That is a one way ticket to being asked to leave, and in the almost 5 years since we've taken over here, thankfully it's only been a couple of times. But the trend seems to be going in an upward direction. π
Everyone here works extremely hard to provide a quality experience and when we know we messed up (because mistakes do happen), we never skip a beat to correct it. But we are not a test kitchen. Branching out of your comfort zone is so awesome to do and that's a huge reason we love changing the specials around, to offer something different. But they are not free to sample and send back.
Every product we provide costs money π΅.There is no free truck or free service that allows us to just give away food. So please bear in mind if you don't like something just because you don't like it, it is 100% not required to be comped from your bill, even though most of the time we work with you to make sure you leave our place happy.
Sometimes attitude makes all the difference. π
We love our customers but we love our staff too. We have zero tolerance on abuse to them of any type. β€οΈ
Stay cool out there everyone. Physically, emotionally, spiritually. And please be kind to all customer service workers, especially on these hot hot days. β€οΈ
