With the Acme Tomato Plate, everybody is a winner. It’s back, starting tonight. Local. field grown tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil pesto, deviled eggs, and bread & butter squash pickles. Think of it as summer’s righteous participation award; all you have to do is show up. That makes Acme sort of the Oprah of summertime. You get a tomato plate. And you get a tomato plate. No tchotchke to force dad to fawn over, no “I put the fun in dysfunctional” t-shirt to buy, no dad-themed coffee mug to add to his, um, collection. Just a delicious brunch, a hug, and maybe a card. You’ve got to admit that’s a Father’s Day with a solid dose of sanity.

After nearly 1500 Sundays, we still love brunch and all of its delicious quirks and traditions with the same passion as we did that first shift. Malted doughnuts, cheese grits, eggs Benedict, mimosas, and bloody marys. And, glorious, hot left-handed biscuits with our strawberry butter. Who doesn’t want to start the week so deliciously? It’s no secret that Mother’s Day and graduation often fall on the same weekend around here.

Lucky for you, Acme will be open on mother’s day and noon–9pm on Saturday, May 9th to help the celebrations continue all weekend long!

We’ll also be taking a little extra time to celebrate the incredible women who are moms. From Tuesday, May 5th through Thursday, May 7th, we’re offering all moms complimentary Mom-osas and Acme sangria.

April is the only month where people can officially frolic. We plan to frolic. Because it’s April, dammit. Our 10th annual Rosé Soirée is on Sunday, April 26th, starting 5pm @ Atlas. It’s serious fun with deliciously unserious wines.

The Soirée is almost the perfect Sunday. There will be at least eight different versions of rosé to sample, a ripping rosé sangria, rosé cocktails, snacks galore, a festive soundtrack, and cake. Like most guilty pleasures, the Rosé Soirée is better shared with like-minded accomplices. And, really, no one can honestly frolic by themselves.
