Lagniappe is a word that has its origins in the Louisiana Creole language. The word is derived from the Spanish phrase "la ñapa," which means "something extra" or "a bonus." When Spanish merchants would sell their goods in Louisiana, they would often include a little extra item as a thank you to their customers. At Darrow's, our Lagniappe Specials come with a Po' Boy sandwich, dressed the way you like, along with two sides and a soft drink or water..Come get some! 😋
