3 years ago today at Trees Dallas in Dallas TX, the idea of what is now Deathcore BBQ was born with this completely sold out, legendary tour package.

I liked to cook, but knew very little about BBQ and operating a smoker and had never fed this many people at once, but I wanted to do something a little extra for these bands I love so much, so I pitched the idea of feeding them all for free and after getting approval, my good friend Corey at Circle H BBQ gave me not only all the tips, advice, and knowledge to execute it, but even lent me his catering smoker, which I eventually bought and use now, to complete the task.

What was intended to be just a one-off service for these incredible bands evolved into something more than I ever imagined at the time and that’s due to the major hospitality, love, and sincere gratitude of each member of the tour package for giving them a break from the gas station and fast food and having a hot meal prepared just for them while touring the whole country for a month. I knew right then this was something I wanted to continue doing.

Since then we’ve managed to venture out to catering for other genres and some pretty big bands and even some Live Nation shows and plan to continue climbing that ladder, but our heart and passion will ALWAYS be with the Metalcore and Deathcore scene and those that have supported us through this journey. We have so much more planned too!

Our mission here at Circle H BBQ is to do as the good Lord has instructed us to. In Luke 6:27-28 he tells us – “But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.” That right there in our belief means help everyone. Not just one group of individuals, not the rich, the poor, the sick, the ones down on their luck, the addicts, nor the politicians(grrrrr) but EVERYONE. There is also a thing called the Great Commission, which means there’s a need just not at home, it’s everywhere, all around the world. I/We at Circle H are not preachers, but when the situation arises and help is needed beyond the Panola county line we go just as we are instructed too. No matter the race nor religion we go. When we get there we don’t preach nor teach, nor do we judge, we feed them, we tell them we are praying for them. We pray with them, and we tell them God bless you and he will watch over you. Sometimes that’s all someone needs to hear just to remind themselves there is hope. We are planning to expand our mission of helping people in need, we are in a bad way needing to upgrade our cooking trailer so that we can prepare more food at one time so that we are not behind and we can keep that food line a flowing. A full belly will brighten their whole day when they have been days without. We have all the equipment to put in a new trailer we just have to get the trailer. Last time I checked they was 40k for an empty 35’ trailer partially enclosed with a covered back porch that I can put both smokers on. At that point we can prep, cook and serve a min of 300 meals per hour. The small smoker will do 100 per hour and the big one 200 per hour. Everyone please share and pass along the word. This coming Monday instead of running out of the food trailer we will open the bbq shop for lunch only 10am -2pm for sit down dinning. Doing a little test run. Y’all come see us.

We are looking for a few donations to soften the blow to purchase this much needed Generator so that we can continue our mission work. We have generators yes but they are not getting the job done. We have to constantly monitor them because they are no big enough to carry the load and we definitely do not need the food to ruin that was graciously donated too feed the flood victims and search and rescue workers.
