The Castle Hotel and Bar began as the gathering place for quarry workers, ranchers, and travelers during the 1890's. Around 1910, The Castle Hotel and Cafe became the stopover for travelers between Denver and Colorado Springs. A decade later, a dance hall was built in the bar and it served as a community center during the roaring 20's, depressing 30's and early 40's. Throughout the years, The Cast

le Cafe and Lounge remained the geographical and social heart of the Castle Rock area. Open for selected lunch hours, dinner service and all-day Sunday, Castle Cafe is an unfussy southern pub serving World Famous Fried Chicken and other delicious American fare.

We have strawberry shortcake as our dessert special right now and you gotta get down here and get you some! Fresh strawberries, homemade whipped cream, and our made from scratch biscuits make the berry best dessert just like grandma used to make. We have it for a limited time so come on down! As always, all of our desserts are made in-house and it makes all the difference.

It's taco Tuesday! We had to get in on all the fun. Our special of the day is Blackened Salmon Tacos. Our salmon is to die for, but when we blacken it, it gets even better. These tasty tacos are served with corn salsa and our homemade chips and salsa roja. These are all you need! Get down here!

Goodness me, doesn't it?! And we have got you covered on this gloomy Monday. Our special tonight is our yummy BBQ pork platter! This baby will satisfy every bbq craving you've got! It has ribs, smoked pork sausage, pulled pork, Nana's slaw, mac 'n cheese, and cornbread! All of the sides are homemade down to the sauce and of course we smoke all the meats right out back. It's our amazing pastrami piled a mile high on a poppyseed bun, topped with Swiss and Nana's slaw. This sammie will have you coming back for more every time. Monday's never looked so good! Yes we are onto something so good! Come on down and see for yourself! We ALWAYS have our world famous pan fried chicken. And tonight we have BBQ ribs as our blue plate special. We smoke these babies on site and serve them with our homemade sauce. We roll out the ribs at 4:00. See you then!
