Dear Sunrise Family –
Twelve years ago today, we embarked on a wonderful journey opening this restaurant, and have served many customers while forming heartwarming friendships with so many of you. It is with mixed emotions that we share that this Sunday will be the Sunrise Family Restaurant’s last day, though our staff will remain under the new management to serve you, so familiar faces will continue to be here.
We have so many great memories of special events that were held here, fun moments laughing with customers, ways we were able to help our community, and the wonderful staff that contributed to our success. We braved Hurricane Irene and a pandemic and made it through. We celebrated couples’ anniversaries and milestone birthdays, warmly greeted our hometown regulars, and connected with complete strangers in unique, touching ways. We will miss you all, but will hold fond memories of you always.
But enough sentimental stuff, let’s go out with a bang! Please join us one last time this weekend at the Sunrise Family Restaurant, and if you can, share a memory on this site so we can enjoy those reflections of times shared. Thank you all, once again, for everything over the past 12 years. It’s been amazing!
