Years have passed since my granddaughter Sophie was a young teenager employed at the restaurant. This past week, she got married!
The day was filled with beauty and joy. Sophie was a stunning. Gorgeous bride. Arthur's eyes sparkled as he watched my son es**rt her down the aisle. The day was filled with unforgettable moments.
God's blessings to Arthur and Sophie.

My name is Todd Lanter, and this is my journey. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to my parents Robert Geraldine Caturia on September 9, 1959, I returned to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 21, 2024, at Theda Care Hospital in Neenah, WI. I am the youngest of four,

Dear friends and cherished customers,

As we navigate through this difficult time of Todd's passing and his journey home to Jesus, we find solace in the memories of his passion for good home-cooked meals and the friendships he cultivated with each of you through the restaurant. Todd's tireless dedication, alongside Cindy, in fostering a thriving dining establishment was a testament to his deep-seated commitment to serving others.

Following Todd's retirement from his lifelong dream of owning a restaurant, financial constraints sadly compelled Todd and Cindy to discontinue their life insurance policy. In light of this, we humbly extend a plea for your support.

In lieu of flowers, we kindly request assistance with Todd's funeral costs. Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean the world to us during this challenging time. Your generosity and love have always been a source of strength for us, and we are deeply grateful for your continued support.

Thank you for standing by us and for being an integral part of Todd's journey. Your compassion and kindness will forever be cherished.

If you feel inclined to contribute, donations can be sent to Cindy Lanter PO Box 233 Cecil, WI 54111

With heartfelt gratitude,

Cindy and the entire family

Please feel free to share this post.

Today, Todd was called home to be with Jesus. While we grieve his loss, we celebrate his life, and find comfort knowing he is at peace.

I haven't posted this early because I thought things would get better sooner.
Todd hasn't felt good and had a cold since Christmas he went to the doctor the middle of February. Doctor put him on meds. Monday March 4th he went back to the doctor. Was so hard to breathe and a cough that wouldn't go away.
The doctor noticed he was in afib his heart rate was 140 so they told us to go to ER. we went there through the test they found out he's got pneumonia RSV vires, and he has asthma.
On Wednesday March 6th they transferred him to neenah hospital to put him on a ventilator and he's been on there since. He's in very sedated while he's on the ventilator. We are taking it moment by moment and doctors are hopeful he will get better .
thank you for all your prayers your love and your support. I could not do this road alone without all of you

We are closed, we retired.

We would like to Thank everyone that supported our journey, while we ran the Village Lantern Restaurant.
The journey was hard, we had great time's and sometimes not such great time, we pushed on, year after year. Knowing that we had wonderful people that supported us, the same people that would eventually become some of the most precious friend's.
You are the reason we survived 19 years. You are the reason it was so hard to say goodbye.
Thank you.
I would love to give Super thanks to all the employees of the Village Lantern Restaurant, you guys made it happen, seriously you guys need to take a bow, we were here because of you!!
Most of all I would like to thanks our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He guided us, grew us up, he taught us what real faith is about, because that's all we had.
Praise Jesus. ✝️
